Dragon Age is Bioware's SJW vehicle. Not ME. People complaining about ME in that context are just looking for something to hold against Bioware. People where whining about Lefou in Beauty and the Beast when less than 10 secs of the movie shows anything that can remotely be an affirmation that he's gay.

Andromeda managed under it's own steam. Not an outright bad game but dull as compared to every other Bioware game. I think there are quite a lot of people having played it once and simply moved on afterwards. And EA gets the exact numbers through Origin. |

Andromeda managed under it's own steam. Not an outright bad game but dull as compared to every other Bioware game. I think there are quite a lot of people having played it once and simply moved on afterwards. And EA gets the exact numbers through Origin. I'm still struggling with what SJW actually is....is it the whole we want Jaal to be "bi" thing?.....the girl that openly states she's gay or bi ( i never met her btw) or that Krogan female being in charge of a clan?....i think i might have an idea,...(forced issues or agendas?) (being inclusive to other sexual preferences?) but not completely clear on that issue....  Anyway as far as Andromeda goes...yeah, i think most play it one time and it's a wrap. I'm currently on my 2nd run (only because at the time my ps3 Hard drive died...i need my ME3 MP...  )...but playing it again, i still felt the same way i did when i first played it...boring story/characters..etc.....and the visuals are great, just hoping maybe i could find something here that maybe i missed on my first playthrough, but it still feels the same....i can play ME2 & 3 multiple times and that is something i know i won't be doing with Andromeda. |

Ironically it's not the SJW pandering or w/e, it's the entire game that's the irritation from animations to characters to gameplay.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is SJW pandering done somewhat right in my opinion, but then again, Inquisition was a damn fine game.
SJWism now a days has less to do with inclusion and more to do with punishing those who committed the original sin of being born a white, straight, male.

Ten years ago people didn't give a crap if games had "diversity". What crawled up people's ass? Was it the reaction to Anita? I don't care for her but damn it's like people have decided to go off the deep end to oppose people like her. We did care about representation and inclusion in video games, it just didn't register because many of us were and still are minorities in many ways; we lacked powerful voices or visibility. Video games in the "West" were and still are primarily developed and consumed by the straight young white dudes. It's expected they're going to be easily represented in them. But, we've always been here consuming games as well (and putting up with many kinds of poor treatment by fellow gaming enthusiasts). Thankfully global society is coming around to the idea that our money is the exact same as the demo I specified. Representation brings more people to video gaming. Nope, it's excellent games that brings more people to gaming, not mindless pandering nor empty virtue signaling. You make a great game with diverse characters and not mindless token characters who preach and people will devour it like a swarm of African driver ants feasting on a water buffalo. |
