Marcus teaching puppy to give him five
I do like the puppy The puppies can actually be found in the game also. It's even the same interaction in-game as shown above. Marcus also makes these adorable comments sometimes when he pets dogs.
I swear I'm making all dogs in the game invulnerable as soon as I'm able. If there isn't a mod to do it, I'm doing it myself.

I'm quite enjoying this game, haven't quite settled into the driving responsiveness, but I'm sure that'll come... Ughh, still got about twelve days before I can play the game and that's if the delivery is on day. Really want to see the game, really want to avoid spoilers. Just twelve more days. At least Pokemon comes out on Wednesday so I have something to distract myself with.

Got through the game.
(Non-Spoilers) Scenario-wise, I'd say it's a major improvement over the first. Much more focused on wacky entertainment value/nternet humor this time than its overly serious ancestor. Tries a little too hard sometimes on the dialogue, but overall its pretty good. Gameplay-Wise, the hacktivities do indeed kick ass, the hacking puzzles feel more tense this time and pulling off some of these missions feel like something out of a 007 movie. The new mobile gadgets add a great flavor to the original infiltration shtick.
Just don't get caught. >_< The checkpoints in some of these missions are extraordinarily lacking, which means if you're trying to go guns blazing(or get spotted), a quick death can mean a long ride to victory.
Some of the visuals in this game look really good. One cinematic used this weird filter that made the character look photorealistic - crazy shit. I'd say it's a good rent and a fun run. Also, Marcus hacks dumbledore.

Interesting. I may pick it up then, first I still have to find time to play Dishonored 2 though.

I love this game, though that's probably pretty obvious with my avatar change lol. The characters (mainly the interaction between them) clicked with me the most. And the city has so much to offer! I don't mean that in the typical way of Ubisoft games where the map is just bloated with extra stuff, but just in the myriad of scenarios you can encounter with NPCs (visit Pier 39 or the Haight, seriously), the hidden side ops that can sometimes be surprisingly in depth (at one point I was convinced that a side op I was doing was a main mission), etc. I highly recommend just getting out of the car and walking a few blocks around the city, look up NPC bios and listen to phone calls or read their texts. There's a lot going on. WD2 has really surprised me in a lot of ways, as someone who didn't play the first WD and didn't even have the sequel on my radar until two weeks from release. I know the flashy aesthetics and memes can seem laid on thick at first and may initially turn off people from the game, but after playing it I get the impression that WD2 is a loving spoof on 90s hacker ideals and sometimes Silicon Valley at large, if anything. The game comes off as pretty self aware and doesn't take itself too seriously, but at the same times it handles certain topics like racial representation in the tech climate, gentrification, autism, trans representation, etc with a combined levity and respect that doesn't feel hamfisted. Mostly. The game isn't perfect of course, but I think it's definitely worth playing. I am aware of the less than warm reception from certain gaming audiences, due mostly to the flaws of the first game and maybe partially due to the aforementioned flashy presentation of this one. It's a shame WD2 is going to be overlooked by a lot of people because it's been a really fun and solid experience. P.S I love Sitara

This is a not completely finished review of the game as due to technical difficulties, I'm semi-stuck at a certain point in the game but I'd like to share what I think of it so far:
I really enjoy it from a content perspective. I like the characters, the missions and so forth. It's a very enjoyable game in my opinion and I can very much recommend it although I'd also recommend getting it on console since the game is much more demanding on computers so even high-ends are having some difficulties.
Gameplay
So far, I can only speak for non-lethal playthroughs and so far, I've yet to be forced into pursuing lethal methods. While I've encountered one mission that required Marcus to be physically present on restricted territory, I just used the stun gun and the non-lethal hacks. Non-lethal and lethal hacks are helpfully labelled as such so you don't need to worry about accidentally causing one when hacking the enviroment.
Primarily, I use a combination of RC car and drone which works fantastically and is fun. You cannot perform physical hacks with the drone so I use it as a way of surveying an area to better plan my next move, remotely hack objects to make traps and such while my RC car sticks to the shadows.
I can recommend getting the drone as soon as possible. It's a bit expensive but money can thankfully quickly be earned even early in the game like by doing sidequests such as Driver SF.
Driving
I don't have any problem with the driving in the game. I also feel like the traffic and population density is well-balanced. There's enough people on the streets and vehicles on the roads that it feels populated but not enough that the roads became clogged up and hitting the sidewalk once means you've hit ten people. Basically, you share room on the road and streets but you got elbow room to move around which is what I prefer.
Sidequests
The sidequests that I've done so far I like but they are very much in the style of the story missions in the sense that you carry out the missions in the same way. I personally didn't dislike this and didn't feel like it missed variety since I love the way the missions are. I also like that on those missions members of your crew weigh in and you talk to each other. Basically, these kind of sidequests feels a part of the main story.
One of the other forms of sidequests is Driver SF which is missions done in a Taxi-style although how you complete it vary from mission to mission. One is about not causing damage, one is about speed, one is about stunts and so on. They're a very nice way of earning money. Unfortunately, you have to pick a car for the missions otherwise I'd be taxi-scootering every mission.
Current conclusion
I can easily recommend Watch Dogs 2 so far although I have to recommend the console versions of the game until further notice.
