I don't encounter any performance issue. Game run fine on ultra-high setting with only few crash before patch. Well, a performance issue is not pulling 60 FPS or better at all time with high-end hardware and optimized settings. The game can be played even at 20 FPS and some people have no issue gaming at 30-50 FPS, but it's still a performance problem. From what I can tell, it's a bad DX12 implementation that hinders what the GPU can pull and makes the game CPU bottlenecked.

So, since I finished all the Valhala content I was going to do for now (I'll leave the larger DLC for alter), I figured I'd give Watch Dogs Legion another look before the free Ubi+ month wraps up.
Started the main game and was immediately turned off by the fact that there is no fixed protagonist. It really irritates me, especially because you are kinda reminded in every single dialogue that compromises were made everywhere to facilitate that feature. Now, that could be acceptable if the feature really offered something but IMO, it really doesn't. I started my team with a debt collector (sort of a brawler kinda guy), a hacker and a doctor. It turns out, it doesn't matter which of them I actually play because apart from some specials that boil down to minor damage or cooldown %, they can all do everything. It would have been so much cooler if they really had different abilities in the game. E.g. if my Hacker simply couldn't fight at all and if you get detected, you have no choice but to flee or if my debt collector couldn't hack (or only do the most basic stuff like open unlocked doors but no hijacking cameras and all that fancy shit). Then, you'd really have to choose on a mission, who best to take and they'd feel a little more distinct. Over the course of the game, you could then also slowly train them up in the things they don't know, so they become ever more valuable to you.
But running around with the placeholder mannequins, I don't care at all. (Wait, are they being satirical on themselves with all those mannequins standing around in the safe house?) Even XCOM does a better job of making your soldiers distinct and there I am not even suposed to play as them.
Anyway, enough ranting. Bottom line is, I didn't really get into it even though I do like the underlying gameplay. So I decided, I might at least try the Aiden Pearce DLC (Bloodlines). Started that and oh look! All of a sudden this game is fun! All you needed was a protagonist. And Aiden isn't even a very compelling one but at least he is one ... that's all I wanted, it was so easy. Anyway, still playing that and having some decent fun. Should be able to finish it by the weekend and then Ubi+ will run out and honestly, that's ok, I've had enough of their stuff for a while then, I think.

I started Watch Dogs Legion during the summer just to see what it was like, and I kinda liked the no protagonist approach, as well as the Assassin's-Creed-but-with-hacking gameplay. I decided to leave it alone until I finish my current MET run (and maybe AC Rogue and AC Unity, too), but once I get back to it, we'll see if the lack of protagonist starts to bug me. I did pick up a side quest from a seemingly random woman on the street, though, which was cool.

Well, I finished Bloodlines. Had to reduce the difficulty during the final boss fight since it was pretty dam hard. Tried about 5 or 6 times on normal, then set it to easy which made the difference. There were just too many enemies spawning everywhere towards the end.
All in all, I liked the DLC. Noting super spectacular but decent. Definitely better to have set protagonists IMO.
