Watch Dogs Legion and Watch Dogs series

This is so looking like my kind of game.



Who cares about the plot, I've got a team of 20 awesome recruits to convince and level.

And it's delayed to Financial Year 20/21.

A pity, I was looking forward to it, though moves to delay a game are rarely bad for the game itself.

It better mean they are polishing it to be even better than Odyssey

2021 (maybe end of it) for DA4? Well, bit optimistic, but seeing that the latest SWTOR update (after 3 years waiting) is a bunch of nothing and Anthem is on hiatus, I don't see what else Bioware could possibly work on other than DA4. Hopefully someone there cracks a whip, because they can't pull another MEA or Anthem with sitting on their palms for the first 3-4 years of development.

I just realized both the next two Ubisoft games are set in England.  

I wonder if Far Cry 6 will be too.

Chinese media spent around 8 hours combined playing Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion.
The previews and impressions will go live on July 13 at 3:45am China time. (8:45pm GMT July 12).

I am extremely ready for this game. Bring it on...

It probably has a limited amount of NPC templates (voice/skills).

And it will probably feel weird without a central playable character, although you can probably decide to play only a small amount of them.

So I finally played a bit of Watch Dogs 2 after some extensive googling revealed an obscure sub-reddit where I found that I had to delete two files from the game folders and then the game magically launched...

Made it through the prologue




After that last screen, warped to the street in my underwear and got a phone call. Before heading off to meet my fellow hacktivists, I needed to download a maps app (because, apparently, phones in 2016 didn't have maps installed) and buy clothes. Hats start at $249....

Stole a motorcycle, crashed, decided to walk, decided it was too far, fast travelled and then walked the rest of the way. Caused a traffic accident by hacking signal lights and overloaded some dudes phone which knocked him out. Smartphones in 2016 were super serious bidness.

Overall - and still very early on - it looks pretty good (although almost anything is going to look visually inferior when coming from RDR2). The protagonist seems cool and there appears to be a lot of 'emergent' gameplay options, which is nice and a good change of pace for the games I usually play. The 'open world' seems very well realised and reactive. Will pop back in periodically as I continue with my RDR2 PT.

Oh crap.  Is this one of those, other players can impact my game type deals?

I pottered around a bit today, and something appeared in hacker vision and then “they left”.  Was that a real person? Ewwww... 

I did this and played untouched by others, with no apparent impact on the game's plotting.
