Armax Arsenal Arena was good for testing some combinations in the game, but the fighting was as tedious as in whole game/mp because of the clunky mechanics of moving. If you liked that, test it, it might be fun for a while. Also isnt one of the companion missions there too? (its soooo long time I played it) Jack asks you to come by there but I wouldn't call it necessary. Given that you win Cerberus armor, and I hate them, the prizes don't really do it for me. Does it make sense to wear the armor of a group that's actively preventing you from stopping the Reapers? Seems like a good way to get shot. Yep. Bad thing also is one of the armor I think was very good for some classes..

I thought that import bug was 100% on release regardless of which DLC you had? Due to ME1 characters not actually having any face codes. And then they also took out some of the options like purple eyes and if you happened to be using any of those (like myself) you were screwed either way. I had to use a workaround to get it working. Took them an entire month to fix the import bug. Or do you mean it's still happening today when playing that DLC? Never bought ME1 DLC, can't comment. The face import bug never was 100% fixed. And yes when I play Pinnacle Station my custom Shepard face gets screwed in ME3, and when I don't play it, My custom Shepard face imports to ME3 without issues. Diddn't know that. That sucks!

It annoys me that it has a Cerberus symbol on it too dmc1001, but the Cerberus Spirit armor is my favorite armor in the game. It looks amazing and has the best stat boosts for pretty much any power based build. (which is what I normally go for!)

It was a good little speech until he got to "Thats why anthem is here to make feel better. It'll be just like Mass Effect used to be I promise."

Funny thing is no Collector ever wore the Collector armor and no one in the Terminus system ever wore the Terminus armor. Also, my Alliance-first Shepard is modded in ME2 to wear an Alliance uniform instead of that Cerberus atrocity. (Sorry, but it's just ugly.) I think in MEA we had more options for casual wear and battle armor. I suppose you could use kett armor, after a fashion, but a lot of it was piecemeal.

Yeah the armor in Andromeda is all the same armor with different accessories on top basically. It doesn't allow for much variety. Though I do like the way the angaran armor looks. Also the N7 armor is still nice, even if it doesn't quite make sense there.

It is weird that that armor only came in Cerberus colors though. After all Maya had an Alliance version in the same DLC, Ashley and Liara both had Alliance versions, and the human pilot we see in the final battle I believe has an Alliance version of the male armor. And of course the N7s in the MP that had N7 versions of that armor.

I also like that there's dialogue for the n7 armor with Bradley and he gives you a good story reason to why it's okay to wear it in a way. But yeah it's great for adepts and I do adore using pull and throw in Andromeda.

The N7 comments of Bradley doesn't bother me as much, first N7 is what the master sword is for Zelda for example (in other words it's an icon, part of the series) and anyway as Bradley says it's my father armor and I want to wear it because I want to honor him, to remember him and tribute him.
And anyway has decent stats for a Biotic build plus also wearing the armor is more than earned by the half-end of Andromeda with all your deeds and well a pathfinder is supposed to be top notch quality.
The only 'problem' I see is, it should have been an unique model instead of Shepard model but anyway is not like it bothers me much.

I always thought that dialogue was kind of silly, because the lower tier Pathfinder armors had N7 on them too. In fact, on the top tier model, you can still see the bit of N7 on the torso underneath all that extra plating. Anyway, Bradley should shut the hell up. He wouldn't even be standing there like a stump on that little commune if not for wiping alien monsters out.

I'm personally more concerned with Bradly's "don't talk about your feelings/past" policy. That couldn't possibly lead to long-term psychological problems at all...

One would think if you have equipment to fabricate entire suits of armor, you could fabricate it without particular symbols or patterns on it.
Or at the very least, fabricate a can of spray paint to cover it over.

So true! The dev(s) in chrage of the dlc armors really had an obsession for Cerberus it seems. So many ways they could have altered the looks.

It gets the job done by wearing the symbol of an organization that's attacking and killing people in the midst of a war against the Reapers? I don't think so. Shepard may be able to get away with fraternization during the war but no way would looking like an ally of Cerberus fly.

Geez - I was joking, but AFAIK, no NPC in the game actually reacts to it, so it could be covered in bunnies and that wouldn't make any difference in how the game plays out, right?

It would be nice if someone made a mod to make it armor with the N7 logo and coloring. Honestly, I think Armax Arsenal would be tried for treason in a post-attempted Cerberus Coup Citadel. Several such mods were in the wild back in 2012/13. I recall feeling very envious as a 360 player. It would be nice if someone made a mod to make it armor with the N7 logo and coloring. Honestly, I think Armax Arsenal would be tried for treason in a post-attempted Cerberus Coup Citadel. I would use a mod like that for sure. There are far too many Cerberus armors in the game. You'd think one would be enough. but there's 5 I think? See above. They must still be out there, right? Yeah the armor in Andromeda is all the same armor with different accessories on top basically. It doesn't allow for much variety. Though I do like the way the angaran armor looks. Also the N7 armor is still nice, even if it doesn't quite make sense there. The N7 armor also has decent stats. But, as you say, it makes no sense in Andromeda. OTOH, you could look at it as "just another kind of armor" rather than "you didn't earn it". I am definitely in the "no way I'm wearing N7 camp." That armor isn't really all that effective, anyway. Power Damage is probably the second most useless bonus in the game. (Reduced Cooldown is worthless, since the FMoA exists.) Biotic characters, and all "caster" builds, do much better to optimize Combo Damage (which is not aided by power damage boosts). Preferences vary, but I've found the Pathfinder Armor (augmented for combo damage) to be the best for casters. It has excellent, universally useful traits plus whatever you customize into it. It's incredible for Weapon Specialists when customized for them. It's pure luck that it is also my favorite armor visually. (It's also the true "dad's armor", unless Shepard is dad.) There are a couple of high-risk, BioConverter builds that can benefit from the Remnant Armor. I think I could've made that one less hideous if I could choose the color of the lights. White with orange lights could've been fun. Grey with "Remnant green" lights? That red just doesn't do it for me, and doesn't suggest Remnant. For Vanguards, I've found nothing that can compare with Hyperguardian Armor. It's perks are perfect for the job, much as the Vanguard Profile is perfect for the play style. It's a brokenly powerful way to play the game. I've always thought that the ME teams are very good at designing cool weapons and armor, though they often include some annoying flaw (Cord Hislop logos) or some unchangeable, ugly feature (red lighting, nonsensical color-coding, purple visors). They design some goofy, ugly stuff sometimes, but I'm sure even those pieces have their fans. In general, they do a really good job of giving us good-looking gear and fun to use (and hear!) weapons.

True enough. No one reacted to a ship with a Cerberus logo coming to the Citadel for the entirety of ME2. Except the Council, but even they were willing to give you back your Spectre status.
