While I have always been a Bioware fan I always got the feeling that they got a pass on a lot of their games because of a lack of competition in the RPG field, I have always maintained that the only reason Inquisition got such a favorable reception was mostly because of the lack of competition that year and had it been released a year later going up against Witcher 3, Kojima and Bethesda there is no way in hell it would have stood a chance, to be honest Inquisition suffered from the same problems Andromeda had yet for some reason Andromeda got trashed while Inquisition was praised and hearing that the only reason Andromeda failed was because it was overshadowed by a game that wasn't even released on the same systems do you have much faith in Bioware's future offering?
It also makes you wonder, were Bioware's previous games really that great or was it mostly due to a drought of RPGs that they succeeded?

Blaming Zelda for Andromeda's failure shows me that Darrah is inside that Edmonton bubble. Zelda didn't launch with SPECTACULAR train crash of a release, Andromeda did. Nothing has to be said more of Andromeda because it has already been said and done ad nauseum. Again, EA's PR doesn't know who to put in front of the camera to field questions. Well... Anthem just went down on my meter again. I have one and only piece of advice for BioWare:
DON'T MAKE EXCUSES, JUST DO IT.

Ok now I get you, yeah there really weren't any big RPGs released that month and and outside of Zelda not many games that were really worthy of note in general RPG or no. I mean if this is what Bioware considers strong competition I would hate to see them release in a month that actually does have strong competition. |

I might have to play this "Zelda". It's a good game yeah, but if you go into it looking for the sort of storytelling experience Bioware is known for then you will be disappointed. Most of the enjoyment comes from the ways in which it allows you to interact with the environment. |
