Mass Effect Andromeda failed because of Zelda and a crowded RPG release window?

people by nature hate to fail and sometimes will blame others for their failures.

No one is perfect not even me. As much as I am a Mass Effect fanboys, I do think that I would need a check if I had the rights to Mass Effects because some of my ideas are good but some of them are idiotic.

I mean, Zelda is only on Switch anyway, and Mass Effect is not, so...?

Anything after ME3 and DA2 was bad. (DAI was half okay).

I dunno, I think they were trying to be inclusive by including a sassy gay Krogan and that is how I imagine a sassy gay krogan would fight so I think they nailed that scene!

Meh while I do not entirely agree with his argument, after all it could be seen just as much as an indictment that Andromeda 'failed to compete' with the other games in the first place...Andromeda should have been able to beat them, his basic logic is sound. As someone who only buys video games when I am good and able to buy video games I have to be very choosy about which ones I do and don't buy. Hell I'm not actualy sure I have even bought a brand new Video game this year yet at all. And I think far more people are in that boat then aren't in that boat only able to buy games here and there, so if the release schegule is crowded, people may only get to buy one of those games.

yes something done because the story writers lack creativity, 

games are escapism there supposed to transport you to a different reality, the whole point of which is to experience something different to normal life, 

children might like that sort of idiocy but then children shouldn't be playing games they should be studding ready to become adults, normal people dont want some one sided current year agenda driven narrative, they want a timeless classic thats still going to be just as playable in 5 years time, if you as a creator fail to capture that requirement your games going to flop no matter how many millions call it progressive or on point.... the fact mea failed on both counts becasue it was trying to please a bunch of idiots that dont even RPG whilst still retaining some of the core elements from less sjw centric teams just made it a stinking pile of crap

for a start your either a gung ho take no prisoners until the mission is done type or your an unprofessional whiney brat who needs leadership advice, you cant be both and yet bioware broke this simple rule of life, and put some child who needs their team to explain which way is up whilst there apparently making all the hard choices and those "rousing speeches" sounded like I was in the local primary school listening to why the shy quiet kid should be elected class president... uhh just no, 

anyway lets hope they go back to getting the basics right and who knows maybe if there not fucking around with "current trend political correctness and rampant liberalism" maybe they can focus on less bugs in the released game and better facial animations that dont look like a group of pre-schoolers created them from playdoh 

The story and dialogue is subjective for my experience it wasn't any better or worse then the prior games, especially the first Mass Effect game.  I tried going back and playing a male Shepard and I muted the game because I just couldn't take it.

You are right they shouldn't act like a business and if DLC wasn't going to be a good business decision they should have made it anyway and possibly put the franchise in an even worse light for the management.
