To your other question, if you’ve finished the Rise of Iron story campaign and aren’t interested in raiding, I’d say you’ve reached the end of Destiny 1

To Whom It May Concern.

The Endgame of Destiny 2 right now (April 2019) is comprised of:

- 8 Planets/Explorable locations, with their own Lost Sectors and Public Events;
- 15 Strikes (16 if you play on PS4);
- 5 Raids (Leviathan, Eater of Worlds, Spire of Stars, Last Wish and Scourge of the Past);
- 1 mini-raid/dungeon (The Shattered Throne);
- 4 Horde mode activities (Escalation Protocol, Blind Well, Lost Forges and The Reckoning);
- The Crucicle (PVP);
- Gambit and Gambit Prime ("PVPVE");

Plus some specials events that come from time to time:

- The Iron Banner (PVP, Iron Lords themed version of The Crucible);
- The Dawning (Winter holiday themed PVE event);
- Crimson Days (Valentine's day themed PVP event);

Not confirmed whether they are returning, but likely yes:

- Solstice of Heroes (Summer Solstice themed PVE event);
- Festival of the lost (Halloween themed PVE event);

Activities currently on halt, not sure when they might be returning:

- Faction Rally (community event, you choose one of 3 existing factions and earn XP for it through regular activities, if your faction wins the rally, you get some unique loot);
- Trials of the Nine (pinnable competitive PVP activity);
