If they hadn't wasted time on Anthem which is a game nobody wanted, both DA and ME would be in better shape.

I'm Indifferent. Obviously Bioware are waiting to release it on Next Gen consoles which come out later this year. BUT, will it be a rehash of Inquisition flaws -IE static NPC's. Collecting 100 Elfroot. No dynamic weather and/or day and night- or will I be pleasantly surprised?

I love weather changes and day and night changes but I'd rather BioWare spend the resources it would take to make those on things like story and cinematics and combat instead.
It also depends on what kind of game it is. Day and night cycles make far more sense if you are in a single map or location for the entire game (like Skyrim or GTA or Red Dead Redemption), because you don't want that single map or location to feel static or unchanging. But if you are going into different zones that you aren't going to spend more then twenty minutes in at a time, why would it make sense to spend those resources on a rotating day and night cycle for each one of those zones if you aren't going to be there long enough to see the change? You can't just put a feature like that into the game just because some people like it in other games.

I'm kind of indifferent to it at this point. I don't have that burning anger over how inquisition left off that I used to but now I just have a difficult time caring about Dragon Age in general. Lot of the reporting around the Anthem debacle & a lot of the problems around Andromeda just kind of show Bioware as a company that is lacking in good management & strong vision & relying on a pattern of meandering for years and crunching to get something out in the last stretch of production, and it's obvious that that shit isn't working anymore. So even if I was looking forward to the game's apparent direction after inquisition, I wouldn't have a lot of faith in them to deliver.

I'm cautiously optimistic, since that gives a reasonable amount of development time even after re-booting the concept, and possibly also plenty of time to take the lessons learned from Andromeda and Anthem to heart. DA:O had a long development time and several internal re-boots and turned out just fine, so those things aren't necessarily indicators of any problems with the game when it finally does come out.

It does seem like a lot of time. Maybe the redesign of Anthem is taking space ?
