When I talk about being put on BioWare I mean that people assume everyone at BioWare either feels that way or made the comment. The original source for the artistic integrity comment is this blog article from Dr. Ray Muzyka I think Casey Hudson might have said something after on Twitter about it (no way I would be able to find that) the problem I have isn't that it was a dumb comment is that it isn't credited to the proper source. That is the studios blog. The blogs being put up there, especially by the heads of the studio, are usually put there, with consent and agreement by the PR department, to express the views of the head and therefore the studio itself. It's the company line and it applies company wide. You can't, in this particular case, make a point that the views of the head of the studio, in the studio's blog, do not reflect the views of the studio, in a statement made to address the customer base, with an official studio position. Unfortunately, the reason provided here is, at best, weak and was, subsequently, meme'd. Bioware isn't living it down, unfortunately, not even 8 years later. |

That is the problem: Spiders Studio shouldn't even try to be on the level of BioWare, because first they will always fall short they are NOT BioWare and they never will be even with all the money in the world. What they should do is focus on being they is the best Spiders Studio and stop trying to be BioWare Lite because if Greedfall is the best that they can do then that is all they will ever be and now I would be
very reluctant to buy another game from them.
And FTR Greedfall was the first Spiders game I've ever bought and played just like with CDPR failed to impress me with The Witcher 2 as the old saying goes: "You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression." Those first impressions make me a lot less interested in trying out any older or new games made by Spiders and CDPR no matter how many people say that they're "good" or how over-hyped they are. Makes me stick to titles and/or companies that I know, and have some trust with, than new titles and/or companies that I don't know about.
Well if Witcher 2 failed to impress you no wonder. I loved Witcher 2. Greedfall was not perfect but it was good. Considering it impressed enough people that it made Witcher 3 happen and W3 is one of the best rpg's ever made... If you only give one chance to anything, never give them a chance to improve and declare them bad for all eternity. Well frankly I don't care anymore what you think.
I have a limited amount of time on this planet, and simply put if piece of media doesn't wow me, then 80% of time sequels and other content will by the same creator and/or company will not wow me. So why I should I waste my time and my money on a creator and/or company that has failed to impress me. I have wanted to like CDPR for a long time but every time they make games that just doesn't appeal to me, I hated the combat in The Witcher 2 and bored by it's story. I would love to play Cyberpunk 2077 but I get a fucking headache from playing first person games (and the idea of a first person perspective RPG makes me sick to stomach) so pardon me if I don't play a game that I know will make me physical ill just so a company can get an $60 out of me.
And also what makes you think I ever gave a flying fuck about what you think about me to begin with? I don't know you and you don't know me and I don't give a flying fuck if you like my opinions or me or not.
I've never hid my opinions about things and everyone here should know by now: That I would rather being hated for my opinion than being loved as a liar. When I use IMHO that H mean HONEST because I have to look my self in mirror every day and I see a man living as honestly, and believe me I've made a lot of friends here and elsewhere and I've pissed off a lot of people here and elsewhere. If you or anyone else here thinks I'm going to lose any sleep that you don't like my opinions or me personally then you need to seriously get help because your ego is off the charts because I honestly don't give a flying fuck.
Why? Because I've been hated my whole damn life because I'm disabled (and that is all I'm going to say about it because it's no one else business) and I don't want waste anymore of my time trying to please people in the attempt they that they will like me, which they don't. So if you or anyone else here of which there are many and you're not even the first, that don't like my opinions or me personally well sorry, not sorry but again I HONESTLY don't give a flying fuck.
