You're not imagining it. It's especially bad with Morrigan and Isabella which makes me feel like they're trying to sexually objectify them. 

Oh my gosh guys, that's not what they meant. They meant, "This game is so awful, all it could qualify for is 'innovation in accessibility'". I don't watch the game awards, I didn't even know that was an award that could be given, but to read adnorvex's comment as shade against the disabled when this is the "shit on Dragon age" thread is just so out of touch with the entire thread.

I'm confused. I thought the LoF were a bunch of randos and their current hub is run by Isabella, not that it is matriarchal?

I didn't have a seizure for several years but when I first saw the "high level" gameplay trailer I half expected to get one with all the colorful shit on screen. Happy to report it's not enough to induce one for me, just annoying af

as an autistic person irl, I'm just thinking about how they'd even include people with my syndrome in a medieval setting. i guess id accept a quirky mage fellow who liked to read books and was a bit weird though; because honestly I think that's so cute for me to think about, lmao. 

I read somewhere that Bellara was meant to be ADHD flagged and ADHD people were actually offended by that. I didn't get any ADHD vibes from her at all, so it was confusing to read.

Rivani society is but of course when a game tries to appeases no fans over old long term fans and don't bother to actually go into the lore and culture of the game, players who are new to the series wouldn't know such things unless the game does a good job at providing lore which this does not. The Mother of Thedas is Rivani, Rivani was the official official kickoff of the Mage-Templar war having the first circle annulled, and it's a society that has a unique connection with magic and spirituality with their Seers that makes the culture just as magically distinct like Tevinter and Nevarra. It has Dalish Settlements and Qun Settlements. It's probably the most cultural melting pot in Thedas but this game is void of actual Thedas culture it's poorly translated

Oh good, been wondering how often those colors and special effects cause seizures. Weird they didn't have a tone down that shit toggle. Even I would make use of it. DAI was already style over substance for me, just and endless bombardment of effects while all I did for the entire game was spam 3 spells, so boring. Just because it looks impressive doesn't mean it's actually fun. At least I am having way more fun with the combat in DAV.

But yeah, I'm always watching in disbelief how my companions cannot manage to kill off that one enemy with like 1% health that then proceeds to almost kill me from aceoss the map even though both of them were trying to poke it to death. Hilarious. They are completely useless unless you use them for combos. Mass Effect wasn't like that. In fact you could just sit behind a crate and wait for your team to kill stuff for you if you wanted. They also used their powers on their own. I have to unlock that in the skill tree here...

was thinking what would be relatable to me would be a former circle mage dude crying about how he misses his daily schedule and the break from the chantry ruined that lol. 

As a person with sort of "high-functioning ADHD", the most relatable DA character for me would be an Inquisitor who goes like, "OK, I spent hours discussing our next mission. What do you mean by 'I now have to actually do the mission?'"
