That’s clearly Liara. It’d be the ultimate trolling point if they just make another Asari identical to her.
I do think a connection between the two galaxies is something that they could do, but it could be quite problematic, lore wise...but hey, we got plenty of lore issues before.
What I’m worried is that it’s clear, on twitter at least, that people are not expecting a sequel to the trilogy...and if the game will be a mix up, especially without Shepard, the hype of some will turn to disappointment.

I understand why they choose to show Liara, for a similar reason why they choose to let Varric talk, but the former presents a lot more problems and expectations then the latter.

On the shot of her reveal, the tree people near the shuttle are a Salarian, a Krogan, and either a human or Angara. Given that it’s similar to the concept, maybe the latter can help individual the third person?

With the flashbacks to the early years (first contact, Arcturus Station), I'm starting to wonder if maybe, maybe time travel will be involved to smooth over the transition to a post-ME3 galaxy.

Well I make sure that I will make enough for everyone. It would be funny as hell if Bioware used my Cerberus Phantom Commander idea to troll everyone. I know some people here will have their head explode.

And Gamble’s point on the showing of two galaxies ‘being intentional’ seems to me about a connection of the two
galaxies and stories (and there are other referenced to the MW in the teaser).
With her long lifespan, and her being one of the most recognizable, popular character, Liara is a clear choice to be present in the next game. I mean, what would be the point of having her daughter? Both need some reason to justify their presence in Andromeda, if that’s what’s happening, and Liara can very well be alive by MEA’s timeframe.

Well, they succeeded in making the wait for information on NME worse in a way then DA4. At least for the latter we knew about Solas being a focus after the first teaser. Everything is on the table for NME.

I love time travel! But a time travel plot is difficult to write well.

You're right. It's her and she looks older. Also the middle figure seems human and the suit is very similar to Ryder's
