EAcrAPP does not allow you to play modded versions of their games made with the Frostbite engine. Modded Bioware games Andromeda and Inquisition worked just fine with Origin but now only plays in a vanilla state.
Offcourse, the modding community bringing extended life and gameplay to EA's titles for free is greeted with the statement "we do not support modding". Fuck this shite.

Logged in this morning. Well, tried to.
"Log in did not go as planned"
Google search. Okay, clear cache by running EA App Recovery (they should just start there!)
"Log in did not go as planned"
Run EA App Recovery again, and this time Reboot
Able to enter app ... but shows ZERO games in my library
Reboot
Now games appear. But the number of games doesn't seem right. Check my list (yes, I have an excel file which listed them all before I got forced to EA App).
One is missing
Reboot
Run again. Now it appears.
But even then, it doesn't get the game count right. Yep, they can't even count correctly on their damn app.
Gave up in disgust.
Last a small peeve: they have two sections: "Installed" and "My Games" (which doesn't include the "Installed" games). In my mind the installed ones are still "My Games" and should be listed there as well. So I can get an f'n count right

Best would be ea fixing it properly but thats never gonna happen. |

Then Origin tried to force me to use EAapp so I did the fix. I haven't tried to play ME3 on the app in months. I don't even know if it'll launch tbh. Just gonna hang on to origin for dear life until it's offline and there's no fix :|

I haven't tried myself since but apparently Anthem doesn't start either for a lot of people with EA crAPP and there is a 20 or 30+ thread in the EA forums about it and a community manager telling everyone it's being looked into. Why they released this garbage when it's clearly not ready even though they have had this trash in beta for over 2 years or so I will never understand. And then force people to use it instead of Origin.

I did the Retaliation Glitch workaround just as you stated, and the game loaded, and ran just fine. I'm rusty and all, but back in business playing ME3 MP.

Anyone else getting this?  Managed to get back on Origin. Autoupdate of both Origin and games disabled (games in case they try a to sneak something in via game code) but I'm guessing this is something EA side. Can't do anything, but it doesn't stop me from playing ME3 because they forgot something |

good news: the EA crApp refuses to launch telling me EA has problems with my connection (??)
bad news: (and panic): I'm not able to play ME3MP
good news: starting Origin again and launching ME3 from Desktop - success
bad news: no access to the FL...
good news: meanwhile I have access to my FL but
bad news: EA crApp is working as intended usual
