So tired of Inquisition bashing. If you haven't noticed, this is a Bioware fan forum. There are tons of Dragon Age fans here and lots of people, like myself, who thoroughly enjoyed Inquisition. Every time a dev says "so many quests," there's a band of brother haters on this site saying it's "Inquisition all over again. " soooooo sick of it. Sorry you didn't enjoy Inquisition. It is made by the same company. It definitely will have some similarities no matter what, but there's definitely core differences because, you know. Dragon Age isn't Mass Effect and Mass Effect isn't Dragon Age. DAI is, overall, a decent game. I've done multiple runs myself. But it does have some glaring flaws. Inquisition was had way too much filler. 80% of the game were fetch quests and the story quests of the game were less than 15 hours. Sorry but no I don't want Andromeda to be anything like Inquisition, which felt like a single player mmo.

I honestly don't see Inquisition get bashed enough. I feel like I see scatterings of occasional bashing which I'm drawn to like a beacon because they're not the majority. Well, the 'enough' part doesn't happen because many probably consider it a good game, despite its flaws.

1. I also have Torment booked and locked in for some seriously delicious adventuring next year...can't wait! 2. I'm curious, why would you want to spoil the game if you ever think you may play it: isn't that a bit self flagellating? What if the story/twist is amazing and you miss out on them Sixth Sense reveal feels....you don't want that surely. I think because he doesn't want to buy a Bioware game without knowing something like ME3 would happen again. While there's the negative side of being spoiled, he avoids the negative part of feeling how he felt during ME3, while playing, with all the emotional investment you might have while playing. Also, as a general rule, people don't all feel the same in regards of spoilers. For some, knowing how a story or plot goes doesn't have their enjoyment. This human understands

^linksocarina, yeah. but I love to come back after some time to games like DAO (or even DA2), ME1 or ME2, yet coming back to ME3 (SP) and especially DAI (both SP & MP) is not the same, those games feel more ''finished'' after playing them for 2-3 times, replay value is in the older games much higher for me, yet I'm not hating on them, cuz they are still good games, I just love more replay value in older BioWare games, and I ''silently'' wish for a little bit more of it in MEA.

If there's just a good core plot somewhere in the narrative that doesn't try to account for every single place you can go, making it feel as vague as possible like DA:I it could be great. I don't want exploration to be justified so hard that the plot becomes wishy washy, so I hope they occasionally acknowledge the player has freedom outside of the narrative itself in the game than some tacked on "everything you do adds to the "plot"... somehow" notion. Yeah... Well, I'll stop doing that if something gets shown off soon that actually looks impressive and not just potentially good on paper. Impressive to you then? Because most people here are liking what they hear. Perhaps it's time for you to log out and just keep quiet. Are you really that bothered by dissenting opinions that you want them silenced?

If I were you I would rather follow studios like Beamdog or Hinterland Studio or the makers of Banner Saga. I have a feeling those small-time studios will grow into AA studios and eventually reach DA:O scale without all the EA focus-test fluff some day.

And I say that as someone disappointed with ME3 but willing to give ME:A a chance. Wrong. There's a big difference between making actual criticism based on legit information, and inserting your feelings into a question which can't or won't be answered at the moment. Many are calling out the OP's try hard behavior, and there's a good reason for that.

No, I predict the future dealing with facts and evidence, not guessing a bunch of numbers. Try guessing which Edition you will get for Andromeda. Probably the most colored one. Well, here's a fact for ya: I already pre-ordered a game due out in 1Q 2017. But it's not set in Andromeda. It's set on Earth, a billion years in the future. I predict that it will take me a good long time to finish it too, based on the Early Access I've been playing around with. If I do get Andromeda, it will be after I have thoroughly spoiled myself regarding the game. Just as I did with DAI. Because, as noted, they lost my trust. What I don't get Lakus is if you have such a huge disdain for Bioware and their games now what are you doing here? Nobody hangs around a place dedicated to something they despise (as you seem to). Also it is hard to compare Tides of Numenera to ME:A as it is an isometric RPG in the same vein as Planescape Torment. ME:A being more of an action based RPG is pretty much a different type of game.

I don't have a huge disdain for Bioware (though they are not what they once were) As I've said, I actually rather enjoyed DAI. But MAss Effect , yeah I make no bones about the disdain I hold for it. Particularly since it started with such promise. And the only comparison I've made with Tides of Numenera was that it is due out at roughly the same time as MEA, and is likely to take up a lot of my time.

I get that. I've been playing their games since I fell in love with Bladur's Gate and they stopped making those kinds of games a long time ago. DA:O was their last game that followed that formula. And I don't think that they are going back.
