They aren't going to reduce the number and diversity of weapons in a sequel. Nobody wants that. Riiight, and reducing the number of hotkeyed skills in sequels is perfectly legitimate (because that's what people had been asking for). For the majority of the audience (PS4, XBox, Wii, PC players who use controllers), the number of hotkeyed powers is exactly the same as it was in the MET.

And access to powers is far greater than before. The only difference is that you can't aim and fire in stop motion time anymore, but power access is essentially no different between 3 and 4.

Edit: I've decided I'm not going to pile on with the negativity.
Marketing hasn't been the best. Just hope it's only that, and the game is absolutely phenomenal.

For the majority of the audience (PS4, XBox, Wii, PC players who use controllers), the number of hotkeyed powers is exactly the same as it was in the MET. 1. MET had power wheel, providing the full access to ANY possible active skill during the combat(when needed). And that was true both for Shep AND the squad. 2. They are going to limit PC K+M players too, same as they did with DAI. And it's not even going to be 8 hotkeys in total this time, because they had tailored all the combat around pressing LB and RB. they can't give me 10 active skills while consoles (AND PC controller users too) are hard-restricted with 3. (Dear God, just please-please-please make it so that they won't map the 3rd active skill to RMB+LMB following the controller "analogues". 1-2-3 would be depressing as hell, but at the very least playable).

This is a showcase of awesome marketing... Think as a player, not high and mighty so-called "producer/artists". Show not tell. & https://www.reddit.com/r/witcher/comments/5ww0eb/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_concert_avaiable_for/ It feels like marketing department of EA are all hidden saboteurs from CD Project. Seriously, all CDP has to do is NOT to be like them - and it's easy! Compare to EA any marketing move looks good and attracts attention. I just can't help but think this is 'our ' fault. Bioware as a company is known for over compensating for criticism. And what happened during the campaign for inquisition? Ninety percent of what was marketed in the game was in the game and yet bioware was called liars and that they misled the public about the game. Even though it was clear or should have been that the game was not finished. Even though the public was not even supposed to get their hands on it bioware was reamed by a lot of people. As a result we now have to deal with a marketing campaign which appears stingy, not that i blame them, and every video released now has a disclaimer. And as far as not wanting to risk spoiling things bioware spoiled major bits of Dragon age inquisitions plot via the last marketing. People complained, i being among them, so now we have them being careful about such things. I don't think it is just that, a few people took their complaining too far with trying to file FCC complaints about "misleading advertising" because of a tweet about how many endings there were in Mass Effect 3, combine that with people threatening to do the same with the Crestwood video for Dragon Age: Inquisition I could see EA not wanting to risk the potential costs if they were to have been at fault. People saying they were disappointed/upset because the video they watched way back when is one thing, but the potential fines/lawsuits because of people going to the Feds is another altogether. EVEN IF IT"S TRUE (which I highly doubt - I mean, what we see now is the result of what you mention), do you seriously defend the attitude "no marketing at all" vs expected "improved marketing"?

EVEN IF IT"S TRUE (which I highly doubt - I mean, what we see now is the result of what you mention), do you seriously defend the attitude "no marketing at all" vs expected "improved marketing"? There has been marketing for Andromeda for years, marketing is keeping exposure for your brand and we have seen that with Mass Effect and since that first E3 video after anything from BioWare was released it became news articles (mostly clickbait). Even those vague E3 videos where it was mostly a voice over showing people working is a type of marketing for after they aired people were talking about the game. What they have changed isn't the lack of marketing, but removing content from marketing that might change between the release of that information and the time the game goes gold to prevent the easily confused consumer base from saying "you lied" or "you mislead us". Edit: Removed something that I couldn't even understand.

People complaining about too much information, leave that nonsense for 2015 or 2016.

Back on topic: I'm still a little vague on what additional info people think they need to make their buying decisions. Details on mechanics? Substantive plot points? Who's got the hottest sex scenes? What's missing for you folks?
