While there are definitely some shortcomings that the game suffers from (a restrictive CC and awkward facial animations), I absolutely had a blast playing through my first 10 hours of Mass Effect Andromeda. In fact, it felt more like two hours at best, and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things and finish up work on Eos. I spent most of my time exploring every nook and cranny and scanning like a madman, so I didn't even finish the story that was available in the trial.
I am absolutely loving the new combat and traversal with the jump jet is fun and feels really good. I've been playing on Insanity and it's absolutely a blast and actually a challenge. My only minor complaint would be the stupidity of your squadmates, as they tend to have a propensity for suicidal actions. I also really feel that the Nomad suffers due to not having any weapons. It just seems like a missed opportunity I'm constantly reminded of every time I drive it.
Overall, I'm already addicted to this game and I can't wait to invest 100 of hours finding everything. I was also really impressed by how fast the load screens are! It's night and day from the nightmare loading of DAI.

Loved it. The 21st can't come sooner for me. I'm hoping they surprise us with an earlier release date. :::crosses fingers:::

Really enjoyed it. I played around with the character creator a bit but only played the campaign for a few minutes because I didn't want to waste time making and remaking my Ryder, so I spent most of my time in multiplayer.
Was very disappointed when the game quit in the middle of a match and told me my ten hours was up.

I enjoyed it, so I guess that's closer to yes than no even if I wished a lot was different.
The first few hours of ME1 and ME3 were worse anyway and I loved both of those games. (minus the ME3 ending ofc)

Yeah the time flew by. To be fair I still have time to mess around with it if I want to but I hit the story limit. Going to wait until it is fully released before jumping back in. Might start over since I wasn't happy with how my Sarah turned out. Still, it is going to be a long weekend.

Totally did! Now I'm so messed up I can't even enjoy another game, so sitting here doing nothing while I wait to get back into it... Luckily for me, I have another great game that I can distract myself with: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If not for that, I'd be completely hopeless constantly checking Origin and seeing if I could somehow load the game early lol. It's such a tease that you get cut off after 10 hours of play time. I think the game should just be locked to a certain point, but it shouldn't cut you off from playing entirely. They can lock the multiplayer as well if they didn't want players progressing in that after 10 hours.

If Bioware put up a 5$ checkbox to give me another 10 hours of MP, I would hit the "GIVEMENAOW!" button faster than they could do the transaction from my credit Card.
So yeah, quite nice.
Will wait with single player untill release though.

CC was awful. Adept severely nerfed, if you play tech you have overload for shields and incinerate or flame thrower for armour, if you play combat the right combination of weapons ammo and abilities you can take on any thing. If you play biotic with no warp or reave when faced with shielded or armoured enemies you have to switch to tech or combat/ weapons. In previous games I was able play through just using biotic with minimal gun play. Scanning and jumping gets old really fast, and I fear are overused in this game. The planet map animations take too long and get old. Having to go to forward stations or look around for medical crates to heal is tedious, why get rid of medigel and health regen?

It has a lot of negatives, but yes I really did. Unlike another recent Bioware game, I DID NOT get bored in the first hour. Instead, I've played it non stop until origin took it away from me.
PLEASE, ORIGIN JUST 5 MORE MINUTES!

I had a blast! I've only played 8 hours of my trial but I'm probably going to wait until Monday to use them. That'll be to get a custom Sara I like for Tuesday.
As for the Nomad's lack of weapons, I feel like the Nomad itself is a weapon. I've run over so many Kett with it. XD Granted I'm playing normal, not insanity, so the damage it can take is probably higher for me than you.

I didn't even play SP, only MP. Some bugs in MP for sure, but I really enjoyed. It's a faster pace than ME3MP, and I do personally love the new mobility. It is awesome while using the Elite controller on XB1, but I'm wondering how it will go on PS4 (where I have pre-ordered).
Really looking forward to SP as well. on PS4 it's telling me I'll be able to play on Monday, March 20th at 10pm MST. Took a couple weeks of vacation time just for this, so a bunch of MEA and some family visiting. I might have to "yaawn. hmm, think I need a nap dear family. catch ya in a bit." *sneaks off to gaming area to play MEA with heaphones so they don't know*

Although, I've noticed the Nomad doesn't always kill enemies when you run them over. At least in particular with those bug creatures on Eos, I had to go back and forth several times before some of them were squashed. I don't know if it's just a design flaw or the Nomad was not really made for killing them. Overall, I absolutely love the Nomad and how responsive it is. It's night and day to the Mako.

I think you need more than a yes and no for this one, buddy. You either loved it or you didn't. I don't really see a need for another option. This isn't about whether the game was perfect or not. Obviously, there are some outstanding issues that virtually everybody is in agreement on. After 10 hours, I think most will be able to determine whether they want to continue playing MEA or move on to another game. I didn't even play SP, only MP. Some bugs in MP for sure, but I really enjoyed. It's a faster pace than ME3MP, and I do personally love the new mobility. That being said, I'm sure the game will still be enjoyable on the PS4. For shooters, my go to controls are M/KB always. I could always use my X1 controller, which is what I did for DAI, but I don't believe it will be necessary for this game.
