I think the Krogan fight at 11:30ish triggers me the most. Note - there are spoilers within.

I expect bugs in games, so for me, they don't count. The korgan fight was off, but besides that the only thing in this that bothered me was the dead eyes/lack of expresssions. There are several in that video where they have expressions, and they seem fine??

These are paid professionals, and yet I'll bet the majority of posters on this forum could write better dialogue. And yes they have expressions... expressions that are PS2 era quality... Bioware needs to do better than that. And I've changed my mind, Ryder drinking from the fake glass at 16:00 is my favorite part.

What's so weird about the dialogue anyway?
Sure, some figures of speech might be a little off, especially if English is your only language. It seems like some French and other European figures of speech made it into the game. I don't mind that at all though.
Like the 'my face is tired' one. Made perfect sense to me, is used in my native language (West Frisian) as well.
All in all I think people are being extremely nitpicky. The dialogue isn't that much more weird than HZD or TW3.

All three games in the trilogy combined didn't have this many issues put together. That video is trending now on Youtube - up to 1.5 million, was at 1 million just an hour ago.

Can't say I listened much to the video rather than trying to spot the issue, but after playing the game, I haven't had much of an issue with the dialogue, except Ryder sounding too diplomatic in the various reply choices. As for the expressions, when they are there, they seem mostly fine to me.

Can we request Suikoden gets their own part of the BSN to keep their incessant trolling of the game all nice and tidy? Because right now that shit is just all over Every. Single. Post and it's getting tiresome 😜

ME 1-3 were pretty solid from a technical standpoint Considering how many plot threads were altered based on players' actions from game to game, I agree - it was solid.

Well now you have to be right of course. 1 million views! Pretty sure everything with more than 1 million views on youtube is the truth and I will not find a single ridiculous with a million views on youtube.

I was referring to glitches and bugs mostly as compared to MEA. But yeah, there were a lot of permutations that they handled pretty well all things considered.

Why are you people such defenders? People complain because the game is a fucking mess, i like the game i played like 80 hours so far but the game could and should have been 10 times better and the problems writing and animations are inexcusable.
Feels like Bethesda fan boys defending game breaking bugs "because haha they're funny"

I like the game even though it has it's problems but their are so many mindless sheep jumping on the hate train. They hate the game when they themselves don't know why they hate it.

I think they know why... Off the top of my head: Tumblr dialogue Generic Antagonist Boring characters that tell instead of showing (I'm trans! This is my backstory!) Cliched / regurgitated plot Tired faces Terrible romances Bad voice acting Lack of squad control / load-out Fetch quests, fetch quests and more fetch quests (quests are awful) Endless scanning... to complete fetch quests I'm probably missing a bunch of stuff...

Feels like Bethesda fan boys defending game breaking bugs "because haha they're funny" I can only speak from my own experience, but when i've played the game for 70 hours and only had 1 crash, and a few minor glitches i consider that to be an achievement in an open world game. That doesn't mean that my experience is the same as everyone elses. We all got different tolerance for issues, we all have different expectations to what we want and we all like different things. If the people that actually dislike this game could understand why some like it and vice versa, well maybe we could have discussions instead of bickering. Most post at this point is either "Here is why this game sucks" or "I love this game".

I play on PC, like i do with all RPG's. PC tend to have more performance issues because no one set up is the same. Also some people treat their PC like a garbage can.

This is off topic, but I'm tired of people looking at a bad animation and calling it uncanny valley. If the same animation was applied to a cartoon dog it would look just as bad. Similarity to humans doesn't matter.
The likeness to reality or lack thereof is not the issue. The uncanny valley itself is pseudoscience. People keep posting that graphic with the X and Y indices - but no units. There is nothing being measured there. "Human likeness" and "Affinity", please that Mori dude who came up with it didn't even bother to think how to quantify those measures. He just put the legends on the indices so it looked sciency. And finally even if he was right, he was talking about real life robots you interact with, not cartoons on a TV or computer screen.
Annoying that people will argue about climate change and evolution but will regard the uncanny valley crap as a settled fact. It's up there with "we use 10% of our brain" and "unconscious bias explains institutional racism" crap.
The uncanny valley isn't Andromeda's problem. Eyes too wide open, brows not moving, default smile when told dad is dead - animations being bad is.
