Best romance?

This poll/thread, as well as this tweet make me wonder if it will be Jaal or Reyes, or someone completely unexpected. IF we could go by the amount of posts per thread on this forum, my guess would be Jaal.

Jaal's sugary sweet (and loud) declarations of love did kinda wear on me a smidge, but at the end they do kinda make a funny (and naughty) joke out of it when you talk to him right after the main quest concludes. 

My character did have a fling with Reyes, but in the end broke it off with him at that pivotal choice moment, and ended up with Jaal...and that fit her. She was my typically charasmatic "goody good" 1st playthrough...I liked her a lot and I loved Jaal's romance for her (and OMG that sex scene). But my NG+ Ryder will be my more badass nasty character who will end up with Reyes. To be honest, I'm going to find it hard to not go all Jaal again, but I really don't think he's going to like this new character all that much (that will hurt).

At first I thought Jaal was going to be a much more mature "older" character, but it turns out it seems he's about as emotionally mature as the rest of the "cool kids" crew. And OMG the emotional roller-coaster he puts you through (like the scene on Voeld). And he does have some quite adorkable moments (like during the conclusion of his loyalty quest when he tugs Ryder over and shoves her in front of his siblings and is like "I want you to meet my friend!")

In the beginning I was pleasantly surprised by Liam...I thought that he would win my character. But as time wore on, he just seemed to really strike me more and more of THAT popular guy in high school that was always up to something that never quite grew up afterwards. The conclusion of his loyalty questline is what ultimately friend-zoned him for me. 

Reyes lost out not to Jaal, but to a few SWTOR chars he slightly resembles for me, though I am going to romance him on the male PC, but I have a feeling Peebs is going to take the heart there. Jaal does not resemble anyone as of yet, and imo it's a good thing. Liam has pretty eyes, very pretty eyes, but, yeah, he's a littl' brother. Actually, both the in-game little brothers (Carver and Scott) tricked my romance compass the wrong way more than Liam, the LI who is totally my little brother. Weird?

Does Liam not get one?
I knew about Cora and Peebee and just assumed it would be more of straight broRyder getting his lady harem with the easy to animate bewbs (so humans and asari romances) much like it was in the original trilogy. I thought if sisRyder was going to get any sex scenes it'd be with Liam. Dude has his shirt off plenty, that's halfway there.
I really wasn't expecting anything more than maybe a bit of rolling buttcheek when I agreed to the Jaal sex scene 
I'm so not comfortable with the amount that was given. I kinda wish someone had been pointing a camera at my face when I got to it. I don't think I've ever pulled a face that horrified before 
I can't look at my Ryder anymore. The shame of it all.

At least I've gotten a good laugh out of it. 

Oddly enough, Jaal. I'm usually not in to romantics, because I've never really experienced it perhaps. But he made my heart flutter and I do not regret choosing him during my first playthrough.

I'm going to play again a few times, make a new Ryder, up the difficult, and pick a new love interest. But for now, Jaal gets my vote, I loved his character.

Yeah a lot of us did not see Jaal's sex scene going that route (literally and figuratively). We even had a convo about wondering if the Angara were Dextro, but Jaal pretty much proved they weren't.

Damn, I was considering looking into a Liam romance at some point because he seemed alright. Certainly more tolerable to me than some of ME's past human companions. But I'll take Jaal's downtown filth fest over a shag on that grim couch 

I was very surprised at how far down they showed him going. At first I was just surprised there was more content after my screen flashed to white from the first scene. Then it was a increasing level of surprise from "oh there's more"..."is this just going to be some nude kissing?".."oh he's moving down... He's still moving down... (O________O)"

This game is only rated a 16 here. 

Reyes. It's exactly the kind of romance I wanted and I loved everything about it. Especially how natural it felt and how good the writing was.

I was lucky. I had everything at the highest setting and no issues, minus a weird moment of poor lip-syncing with a too smiley Archon, but everything else looked amazing. In fact the details on Jaal's skin during the sex scene is REALLY detailed at those settings. WOW!

Yeah, I run everything maxxed out as well (minus chromatic aberration and film grain) along with ReShade and some scenes end up with some funk to them. Not sure if it's certain post processing effects not playing nice together or what. 

That whole part with the Archon is wrong. That's not a normal cutscene. Even Kallo looks more detailed. It caused a weird stuttering until it ended.
