Best romance?

I don't know yet, but keep this thread alive.

So far I flirted with Vetra, Liam and Jaal on my female Ryder, and inclined to stick to Jaal. i don't like Liam, and I want something more exciting than very mature, serious and responsible Vetra.

Akksun (whom I have not met yet) Seems to be what I have imagined Jaal would be as I was waiting on the game.

If Liam mumbles and makes no sense at all to me, Jaal speaks too slowly and is quite a change of pace from the latest charged romances I have pursued in Bio games in a quick succession. I just went through Thane, Anders and Dorian, so Jaal is very emotionally quiet by comparison. I like him a lot, but just not falling head over heals.

I think I will romance PeeBee later with my male PC.

But, overall, it is very much like ME1 for me - nice chars, but i don't have my heart set the moment I see the character, let alone the DA2 impossible dilemma between Anders and Fenris.

I voted for Jaal. I like Vetra best but in the romance department it was a little weak. Still has the whole Turian love scene in full armor like the trilogy. I will say its pretty damn cute tho. For me personally Vetra wins but Jaal, Cora, Peebee, and even Liam to a lesser extent have much steamier scenes.

I voted for Suvi. I love pretty much everything about her character and her romance with Sarah is absolutely adorable. It is also exactly the kind of romance I was hoping for in this game.

I thought I was going to decide between Liam and Vetra in my first run, but nope. Jaal was too adorable and I was hooked. (And Jaal's huge family/mom is what my Ryder needs, too.)

Reyes was my favorite, but only because I could play my Ryder as a contrary/tsundere type character. Compared to Zevran and Dorian, who had the same beats as Reyes, you didn't have to constantly stroke his ego (or lose approval) to keep the romance going. Once you got his flags checked, you could basically be a dick to him and still romance him, which I often did to keep him from feeling full of himself.

The asari journalists romance is heavily underrated.

I don't know since I haven't romanced everyone. I romanced Suvi in my first playthrough, and in my second playthrough, which I'm about halfway through, I'm romancing Liam. My third playthrough will be Cora. I'm only romancing those three to get the trophy. If I was to choose one, it would be Suvi.

Jaal. His romance fits the main plot, he and Sara have similar personalities, likes, hobbies and it's a slow burn relationship that grows from strangers, to friends, to more than friends and finally true love.

She's not included in the poll, but I thought Keri's was the best paced and had the most natural dialogue.

It also depends what you mean by "best" Cora and PeeBee get the most content (at least for the available-for-Scott ones), so on paper there's an argument for one of them, but I just didn't think they were as natural as the tiny amount of content that Keri had. If I had to pick from the ones listed on this poll though I'd say it's a toss up between Reyes and Vetra, for their dialogue.

Jaal being Solas was a first fear of ours, but when you find out what he's really like, he's a nobody tbh.

I'm torn about doing Jaal or Reyes, especially because I'm not sure I'm going to replay.
I feel like Reyes is kind of the romance I've been waiting for in a ME game, in that your character can be with a Bad Boy who doesn't also have a ton of issues (like Fenris, Thane, and Solas), but it feels like they should have written it as a fling and not a (definite) lock. Because it's clearly a sexual attraction b/t two really different characters that aren't going to be a Forever Thing (or so it seems at this point in the flirting). And with Jaal it seems like one of the deeper romances we've seen in terms of emotional content -- why can't she just sleep with Reyes and then move on? Guh stupid.
I was always annoyed you couldn't romance Zaeed or Kasumi.
