The patch itself might contain hardware or driver-specific issues. This is why specifying the hardware and drivers version is always useful. There's no implication that your hardware or drivers are bad in any way.

Yeah thats a bit annoying - fixable though by hitting alt+enter in game, forces fullscreen on current application.

I'm playing right now with no issues. I did update my GeForce drivers before I started, though.

I see conflicting messages here, is it the game itself not working? Or online not working?

Because obviously the online was down at the point of people trying it so of course it wouldn't be working.

The game is working but not online.

The servers are down, they said they will be down when the update hits for a couple of hours.

Of course they do, but if just 1 variable is off thats enough to cause problems for 100s of users. Anybody can make that mistake. Hope they fix this asap.

I came home, read this thread, said a prayer to the Omnissiah and downloaded the update anyway.

The only real trouble I had was the one with the keybindings of dialogue options being displayed on the dialogue wheel, and manually unbinding them didn't help - the binding reappeared the next time I started the game.

I then renamed my Mass Effect Andromeda document folder. Upon starting again, my save games were restored from the Origin cloud, I had to redo my keybindings and options of course, but now all those issues are gone. I completed a MP match without trouble, too.

The only thing left are quickly flashing "Building shaders" messages during a load screen, right above the progress bar, but that is pretty darn minor.

Suggestion: rename your Mass Effect Andromeda document folder and restart the game. See if that helps.
