1.05 PC users be warned!

The only issue I ran into on PC wasn't even my issue... friend hosting seemed to have a problem where the match would bork and we'd all just see some of the background.

Well, ignoring the fact that some saves on planets seem to take drastically longer to load than others.  Thought it was saves made in the Nomad, but then one on foot did it.  Hopefully that was improved with the patch.

for those which the game goes to cloud sync and then does not start (no black window),
try putting origin in offline mode (Origin -> Go Offline), then run the game.
a window should appear asking you to login to activate the game.
it should start after that.

Patch has been mostly good for my PC, except the framerate seems to drop when I switch rooms sometimes. But I aso just got the AMD update. Might roll that back to see if that helps...

works fine for me tho it's a shame the endless loading screen bug is still in the game.

EA & QA have long been mutually exclusive terms.

FYI - Downloaded patch and upgraded to latest nVidia drivers.  Fired up game and no problems at all.
Settings and performance are the same for me. Game is still outrageously fun!

actually I think the loading screen bug is worse now, and load times are quite a bit longer to, I have it on an SSD and it used to load pretty quick.

Not getting the issues in the OP tho.

Ran into a huge dialogue bug with Peebee. Every option I picked resulted in the same conversation repeating over and over. I couldn't even leave the convo - it would just go back into the same conversation again. Had to close out of the game the hard way. Will restart it to see if it makes any difference.

The more I read about the patch, the more I worry. It was clearly a totally rushed release. No wonder it is called 1.05 instead of 1.10. It is another half-baked experience, and to many, the medication has already proven to be worse than the disease in its current state that it attempted to cure (or at least to alleviate).

I would not have minded waiting one or two more months in order to get a properly working game during its release. And again, I would not have minded waiting a few more weeks for a more complete and stable patch.

And yes, I do know that it was an emergency measure in order to save face for the release, but if word get out to the press that the patch actually aggravates matters biowares reputation is only gonna sink even lower. You dont fix a rushed, unfinished product with another rushed unfinished product.

Riiiiight.  Because that particular phenomenon is limited strictly to one platform.

Same problem here. I can't start the game via origin. I get a black screen in windowed mode.

Specs:
Win 10
GTX 1080
16gig ram
blablabla

And working in offline mode doesn't fix the problem for me. Neither does a repair :-( 

I haven't experienced the problem that the OP has stated, but here are some of the problems I have been noticing since patch.

1. Alt+Tabbing turns on "windowed" mode, even if the setting is still on "full screen". You can't go back to full screen without restarting the game.
2.1. Switching between UIs is no longer as smooth and has a noticeable delay.
2.2. Switching between UIs can some times hang, so I've seen UIs get stuck mid-transition. Both UIs are functional at this point.
3. Primer delays. I fought the Architect on Kadara this morning, and for some reason my Singularity would take 2s to prime and animate once it's reached it's destination.
4. The eyes and faces still twitch, as if no one is comfortable talking to anyone.
5.1. Driving the Nomad to follow an Architect mid-combat some times prevents you from dismounting.
5.2. Once you get off, it takes a considerable amount of time before the game realizes that you're no longer mounted, causing you to be incapable of aiming your weapons properly or seeing the comabt UI. This problem lasted a good 30s for me after dismounting.
6. Significantly longer loading times and start up.
7. There are instances when I get hit by a one shot mechanic, but the game does not detect that I'm dead.
7.1. Some times, my PC gets bashed into the ground and continues to fall through the ground, unable to load from last save.
7.2. Other times, my PC's lifeless corpse is left on the ground, regenerating shields, and unable to load from last save.

EDIT: PSA- If you're using a Freesync or Gsync monitor, a lot of the crashes can be fixed by turning VSync on...However even this did not fix any of the issues mentioned above.
