Your opinion of the Character creator.

The character creator is the reason why I'm struggling to keep going on my current playthrough. My first go around was just using default Scott, but this time I wanted to make some changes to default Sara and it turns out that you cannot do that. My next thought was to try to recreate what that would look like using the character creator and you cannot do that either. I don't like the character creator because I was not able to make something that I was proud off --- I had to settle and that was not a wise choice on my end.

The character I made didn't look too bad until hours down the line where I finally noticed that even the lightest skin tone available looks awful in many different lightings. It (I say it instead of she lol) looked fine on ships and on the Nexus but when I sat foot on Eos it finally hit me that I disliked it. And there is this weird coloration with the hands, like she had never washed her hands ever and that was all the nastiness from all those years on those hands. Another thing I noticed is how her mouth is ever so slightly open in a straight face position. Never noticed any of these things in the character creator.

So yeah I think the creator needs a lot of work. Why do we get such limited control over the brows, eyes, and faces? I'd also extremely value the ability to make changes to your character mid-playthrough. It'd fit nicely in Lexi's area. I'm the type of guy to type in ShowRaceMenu in Skyrim frequently in the first few hours to correct tiny things. Even if it's a PC-only cheat code I'd be fine. I just don't notice the smaller issues until like an hour or so down the line and at that point I'm stuck. I don't want to waste endless hours repeating the first mission until I finally get it right and I don't want those small nagging imperfections throughout an entire playthrough.
