I guess his people needed him I see strange occurances at that spot all the time, but nothing quite that extreme rofl Yeah, it's like the game gets confused about whether enemies are down below, up top, or somehow both at the same time. Lost track of the number of times I've been hanging out up top, wondering who kept shooting me, and then it was some bozo down on that big crate hitting me through the cliff.

(enter lobby with three lowish Apex players with level 20 kits) rando pug: "Hey this is gold, do you have any level 20 kits? You want to bring a level 20 kit to gold games." me: "Sure, I have a lot of kits at level 20, it's fine though, you can't tell but even though this kit's only level 12, it's rank X, so it's like the equivalent of a rank I kit at a higher level. Know what I'm saying? You know what, never mind." *exits lobby* Once I dropped into a silver lobby with my level 10 salarian infiltrator at rank X. At that time I had apex rating around 4000 carrying a Vanquisher I. All the other 3 players were using level 18 or higher kits and the host came on mic telling me "This is SILVER. Don't bring a level 10." I ignored him and readied up. He said it again and I ignored him again. Then I was kicked out of the lobby...... I went back to pugging gold. Are you on PC? I just tonight started to take my rank X level 1 kits into gold when playing in BSN lobbies, if you want to join in, I can friend you up.

Man, that dude's been gone a loooooong time. His final lasting legacy was locking the entire Character and Romance subforum. The whole subforum, not just a testy thread or two. As far as I recall, he was eventually released from his duties at BioWare. He was replaced by the cosplay chick whose name I can't even remember now because that's how obviously involved with the forum community she was, then when she left it was just kinda... a black hole of not really knowing who the community manager was anymore. Until Conal was eventually revealed and that wasn't entirely long before we got the word we were being shut down as an official forum Soon™. As far as Evil Chris, he went on to be a community manager for that developer that makes The Witcher games, and now he's apparently at university studying public relations and not currently working for anybody that I'm aware of. Don't forget his parting shot in the (old) new forums, where he created an account right after the announcement that it was closing down to let us know how happy he was about it and how he wished he could have done it years before. Pre-ME3, he was actually a fairly decent community manager, at least in my opinion, but I think the echo chamber and the general BS that goes on in the forums seriously jaded his opinion of gamers in general and BSN in particular. Here's me if I had moderated the SP forums on old BSN

after some research i found out that this is happening to a lot of rogers customers because the new modems they provide are modem/router combos that use ipv6 connections, which EA doesn't support and isn't willing to invest in the tech necessary to support it. there isn't a fix, but there is a work around where you enable ip passthrough, i tried to do it and destroyed my internet settings and had to do a factory reset on my router. really disappointing, hopefully this gets fixed in a patch soon, i paid money to play this and can't, such BS. I can only play multiplayer matches solo and cant get past wave 3 this is ridiculous its 2017 EA FIGURE IT OUT If you don't know anything about networking beyond the average person, it will be hard to do stuff like that since it's like working in some totally foreign language. Sometimes you can find a step by step for your specific home router/AIO device. The interfaces vary greatly between different manufacturers and models which makes it annoying. Also if you don't mind telling me where you saw that there were issues with IPv6 that would be greatttt. answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/MASS-EFFECT-ANDROMEDA-TROUBLESHOOTING/m-p/5927201Edited to add: I've already tried disabling ipv6 on my computer's network adapter and it didn't seem to have any effect on how often I disconnected, but I've seen other people on EA Answers say that disabling ipv6 one way or another helped them out.

Teammates are getting more competent and better gear... 3 straight full extractions in different lobbies.... no wave 6 upload but targets a few times with a few ascendants.and wave 3 uploads which are much easier than in 6. I just get warm and fuzzy inside when I see a teammate rocket a fiend or ascendant on wave 6.... took long enough... You almost had me going there but I knew you were lying as soon as you mentioned pugs using consumables.

I haven't played ME3MP is a long time, but I'm wondering... Did enemies have 100% accuracy clear across the map like they do in MEA? I swear I get dropped more from some basic moon hitting me from 1000 yards than I do any big enemy like a Berserker. That's no moon.

So maxed out the amount of strike teams I can have. 2 of my new strike teams failed a mission yet gained a positive trait while another team succeeded in a mission and got a negative trait I'm done trying to figure out a method. Just gonna euip each team with +20 effectiveness and rake in the MF. That's what I've done. I have 4 teams at level 20 with the generic +20 gear, and two more gearless teams at around levels 12 and 14. Once they're all up at level 20 with +20 gear, I'll just use the less effective teams on Silver and Bronze missions, probably be ages before any of them get terrible enough to need to retire.

I've got 13 kits up to 20 with just over 100 hours in, leaving 15 kits to go. I've been leveling a little more quickly now than when I first started, though, so I'm pretty confident I'll have everything to 20 within another 100 hours. Having decent gear and guns helps me take lower level kits up to silver and gold earlier than I used to, as does having a good team of friends to play with, more confident knowledge about the enemies/maps/strategies/etc. It feels pretty grindy and slow at first, and doesn't get much better along the way, but like others have said, once all the kits are at 20, there's not much reason to promote over and over like in ME3MP. You must be runnin a lot more gold than me. at 100 hours I've got 4 @ 20, 5@ 15 and the rest at 10. It feels much slower progresswise. Lately, I've been taking each level 1 kit into a couple bronzes to get to 4 or 5, then a few silvers to get to 9 or so, then gold the rest of the way to 20. Edit: I feel like it also helps me move up early when I take a look at each kit ahead of time, figure out how I'll spec it, and then figure out which points I need to put in first to allow me to safely move up a difficulty level. Like, with the Krogan Mercenary I'm leveling now, at rank X level 1 I had enough points to max Rage with a few extra points left over. That plus good gear and guns made me confident that I could probably jump into Silver right away, though I played it safe and did a couple Bronzes first to get a good handle on the kit. After that I put a few ranks into Fortify for survivabilty, then worked to max Flamethrower for that juicy debuff at rank 6. After that, I worked on getting Flak Cannon to rank 5 for the stagger. And so on. Probably not telling anyone anything they don't already know about ranking up kits but oh well.

I was just thinking about this the other day. In ME3MP, the barrel mods were uncommon, and the heavy barrel mods were one step up at rare. In MEAMP, the barrels are already rare, so if - not saying they will, but if - they introduce heavy barrel mods, they'd likely be URs. It won't make sense to have them also at rare, unless there's some other drawback, like significantly increased weapon weight and/or reduced bonus damage and/or reduced penetration distance. On the flip side, even with a crapton more URs at start, MEAMP seems to have a much higher UR drop rate than ME3MP, so having more doesn't necessarily mean it'll take longer to max manifest. Didn't someone on uBSN or reddit calculate that it's somewhere in the 500-something hour range to max the current manifest? I'd be wary of calculations of hours to max manifest at this point, simply because we have only very early guesses at actual drop rates based on still relatively small sample sizes. I'm not saying it's not fun (or monumentally depressing) to speculate -- but I would be careful not to invest the answer with too much value (unless some data-miner has figured it out while I wasn't paying attention...which is totally possible). I got the info from here: bsn.boards.net/thread/8783/games-required-ultra-rares-creditsHere's a spreadsheet someone on reddit's been putting together: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q0DMk9Fj3wwFcDm_wy5cu1t7dRw-VHLUz0gc8DC7gY8/edit#gid=1648532215Edit - found more info on drops here: bsn.boards.net/thread/8692/expert-packs-premium-using-credits

fook me rite? Magma/Outlaw/Gold Sound cut out right at the start of wave 1. But hey, assdept around to explode lots of stuff with my femguard, so I stuck around instead of restarting. Right from the getgo I was aggromagnet #1. Because raisins. And stealthgrid. But mostly raisins. Anyway, between unchargeable targets out in the open ( obstructed because raisins ), moving thru mud and xplodin stuffs, soundbug, the game deciding which way I wanted to dash instead of using what I input for the direction, scoring headshots by aiming at the "head" ( well, one could argue males have their brains there ), the game was rather uneventful. Along came wave 6. And my sound. Because raisins. And a ctd. But mostly raisins. Raisins?
