This sort of makes sense. The Nightmare, well, THIS specific Fear Demon chose to focus or feed off the fear caused by the Blights. Who fears the Blights more than the Wardens? For the common people the Blight is only feared when it is actively threatening the world. Grey Wardens fear it constantly even in the centuries between Blights when the threat is dormant. Even Wardens that live without seeing a true Blight face it in their dreams and nightmares and fear the day when the Taint within them will consume them.

Spirit Healing should return to the series in DA4 as well as some form of Blood Magic healing. Blood Magic has been revealed as not completely destructive in the extended universe. In the comics there are Blood Mages that use their skills exclusively to heal. This should be explored in the games, more-so if the setting is Tevinter.

The Staff of Corruption. Was my favorite in DA2 as well. I hope it returns in DA4.

No. I loved it despite it's flaws. One could argue that it's not for everyone but it is by no measure a failure.

I think the best realistic answer to this question is that we don't know. Humans haven't been part of galactic society for long and have only recently discovered Biotics and trained people to use them. I don't think there are human Biotics old enough yet to give a clear answer to this question and that probably won't change in Andromeda re Cryo sleep. This question is probably better to ask of non-Asari and non-human species that have had Biotics long enough to understand the effects of life long use.

Biotics all the way. I was an Adept all through the Trilogy and it always upset me when in ME2 and ME3 I didn't have access to ALL the Biotic abilities so the new classless system works for me in that respect. I do wish that Warp and Stasis had been included however. We finally get to be the ultimate Biotic again after Biotic abilities were nerfed in ME2 and ME3 but some of the powerful classics are gone. I hope this is amended in DLC as Biotics are more than making things float. Warp and Stasis added to and showcased the diversity of affects and applications with Biotics and Mass Effect Fields.

After I wrote that post I actually did some googling and found stuff about his asexuality, and a really good piece by someone talking about how if you make him human it invalidates that by giving him an interest in women (which doesn't necessarily mean he's still not asexual) - but this was a piece researched by asexual people, so I guess it just highlights that asexuality means different things for different people. Anyway, their argument was that it suggested that asexuality wasn't 'normal' and that by giving him a sudden interest in women as soon as he's more human it implies attraction is a necessary part of being human. I'm not explaining it well, but the piece was very well-written. Doesn't Cole fancy that bard woman even if he is a spirit, though..? Not that I recall. I think he hooks her up with Krem.

Well I mean Cole could still be asexual despite being in a relationship and liking the smell of his partner. Unless there was something else I missed. His banter implies he's got the hots for her body, even though we aren't even sure what Maryden's sexuality is. If you set her up with Krem, Cole says they are the same. I suppose it is also possible that Cole, if he becomes more human, is demisexual. Spirits are beings of emotion after all and Cole was a Spirit of Compassion.

I believe Cole is asexual. Cole may look like a human male but as a Spirit he has no gender, sexuality or biological urge to reproduce. In a Conversation with Solas Cole revealed he was not attracted to women: Cole: It makes sense. It holds them as they die. But then it's a man, and he wants a woman. Why? Solas: When they possess people, they often indulge in feelings they have never before experienced. Cole: But it changed. It is blank, black, blunted from being. It never wanted before. Solas: Have you felt no interest in women since you came through the Veil? Cole: No. Until Trespasser came along... I think that only happens if he becomes more human.

Fenris isn't even my favorite DA2 romance, let alone Bioware. But to each his own. I would move mountains to hear Gideon Emory whisper in my ear. I just need that voice to come out someone other than a tiny little scrawny barefoot emo elf......<shots fired> My feelings on him, too. My Izzy will never stoop so low in my playthroughs. Anders' romance was hotter than any other in DA2. The chemistry between he and Heroic Pro-Mage Hawk was simply explosive. The sky was filled with fire the first time they kissed. And in tender moments between them in times of crises it was like the rest of Kirkwall simply burned away.

Nah. But I'm actually fitting quite well in a "shy twink" stereotype apparently (some of my acquaintances are thinking that every quiet and not sleeping around guy is a gay). Buuut we've never seen them in any of Bioware games, so I'll pretend it doesn't count. Cole. You are Cole. *looks at avatar* Yep, confirmed. (Disclaimer: Cole can't be romanced so we have no proof he's straight - totes bi imo) I believe Cole is asexual. Cole may look like a human male but as a Spirit he has no gender, sexuality or biological urge to reproduce. I like Liara as a character, but I found myself resenting her because of the way the devs treated her as the OTR (one true romance). Which one of them was it that had a massive hard on for her? Priestly? I can't remember. Anyway, it was pretty gross, and it's really shitty to do to the fans as well. I felt the same way about Miranda as well. I love her but I resented that she got ALOT more content than the other romances. Not to mention how the camera always tends to find it's way to her backside. It was obvious that she was a favorite of the devs. That I don't mind but the other romances should have had as much exposure but it felt like Miranda, a side character in ME3 got more attention than some of the Squad Mates.

While we're on the topic of Liara: I hope they don't push one (or two) romances as "moar canon" than the others. That sets my teeth on edge. It's bad enough hearing the fans tear each other apart over stuff like that; the last thing I want is the devs encouraging it. I agree. While it is inevitable that some characters may have a greater role in the overreaching story See: Liara, Morrigan and Leliana, Their romances shouldn't take priority over the others. Morrigan's romance arc throughout the series is one of my favorites but it overshadows the others and ends up, even though the Warden doesn't appear after Origins, having much more content. I'm not entirely sure if that can be avoided depending on the character or story but the other romances, while they may not be as story centric, should be raised to the same level out of respect of player choice. We can't choose the story or central characters but our choice of romance shouldn't be completely overshadowed by who the devs may or may not like more.
