I saw it on sale now for 30 euros, or 30ish bucks(its about the same isnt it.). For that price and given the patches its gotten, id say its worth it. Just dont hold you breath for a continuation of it.
Also dont expect a Star Wars trilogy epic.
Expect more a The Force Awakens kind of deal, mixed with Guardians of the Galaxy.
Did you like Citadel dlc?
Thats the kinda atmosphere you can expect on the game. Whether it works or not, you decide.

I was ready to buy ME: Andromeda at launch (I don't preorder, even if it means that I'll pay full price 1 day later) but the first gameplays I saw made me raise an eyebrow (I always watch gameplays before buying a game and I must say I did agree with some of the critics even before they were spoken out). However, I also enjoyed the actual gameplay, so I went for the proper critics/reviewers and...well...and we all know what happened. So I didn't buy it. Even though I put ME:A aside and went on other games, I heard (who didn't?) that it has received a lot of patches; plus it's on sale right now So, is it worth getting after all the patches? Does anyone know if there'll be more patches (aka is there anything else left to be fixed)? And finally, is the deluxe version worth getting? I don't know if asking here is ever going to make up your mind. Considering that the fanbase is split you are going to receive very mixed answers. My answer would be yes, but for other players the answer could be no.
What I can say is that I had very few minor bug/glitches, a couple of them were solved with a reload, and 1 was fixed by the latest patch so technically speaking I could say that my game was just fine. And I am playing it on a very old machine with very low settings. About the content, like I said is very difficult to answer cause what worked for me may not work for others. I think that in the end you will have no choice but see for yourself.

I bought it for 60$ and I don't really regret it. I played the campaign twice (altho the second time I skipped a lot of things that added nothing) and sunk 100 hours + if you count the multiplayer which honestly I didn't really like, but I have a low tolerance for coop horde mode anyways I barely played ME:3 MP which some people on these boards consider better than sex.
If you don't take the game super duper serious and you treat it like a summer action/comedy flick you won't be disappointed, but it's not a game I'd recommend to everyone or a must play. I'd catch it on sale for like 30$ or something because to me it is a worse version of Inquisition but in space with more humor and less depth/lore.

Yes but don't go into the game constantly comparing it to the OT. It's a good game, sometimes even a great game but it is different in the structure and tone of the other games. Some like myself really enjoyed it, while others respectfully did not. Some here are absolute drama queens overreacting in negativity.

Well if you're on PC it is on sale at Origin now, 50% off i believe. I would say it is worth it. I don't regret paying full price for the game.

No, don't waste your time or money. It's not that bad. One can have fun playing it. I would say, it's worth the 30 it now goes for over the table. If this was still the time of physical copies however, this would be on ebay by now. I can't imagine picking it up again. I rather go back to ME2, 3 or DAI, which still doesn't bore me. |

I had some fun playing this game. Its worth checking out if you are not expecting an epic Mass Effect title but a good shooter with some pretty graphics and interaction with decent characters.

Thanks everybody, I decided to get the game. I think I'll enjoy it since I'm not a die-hard fan nor am I expecting some proper ME game. Of course I'd love to have a game that would live up to the OT but I'll just take this game for what it seems to be, an OK-ish game bearing the name of the OT
Now to decide if I want to toss those extra 8 bucks for the Deluxe SP content. Probably not, we'll see

It's a fun and enjoyable experience. The patches improved the quality of the game quite a bit. I'd recommend it if you like the franchise and want more of it. It is certainly worth its asking price for me although many disagree. If you see it on sale then grab it.
