Is ME:Andromeda worth getting?

I pre-ordered the game and I do not regret that purchase.
And game got improved even more so thanks to patches.

And right now, game is on 50% sale on Origin and PlayStation store. So current price is a great deal.
Although from what I can tell, game is not on sale on XBOX One.

Yes, but just play it on its own merit. It's still one of the better RPG's this year... I actually can't think of any RPG's for 2017 that are better... Maybe Zelda BOTW, but you need a WiiU or Switch for that.

Personally I think proper braids look better. 

Failure to launch. Get back to ME3 and git gud with the Scimitar. From there, you can conquer the galaxy without leaning on the suit-rat electric piss-nozzle.

If you are an ME fan, you'll love it no matter what. Since patch 1.08 there's been a lot of changes too, improving the game greatly. I'd say grab it while on sale, and if you want Deluxe, sure, why not? You get a few bonus things and some free stuff that was gifted to those who owned the Deluxe too. I've been playing since it launched, issues and all and can't put it down yet nor do I plan to for a long time.

i want to because i wanna wait for dlc and i play games on a schedule. Witcher 3 and FO 4 second PTs, maybe Red Dead, and i might want to torture myself with a run through all three DA games soon. But i can't guarantee i will finish these games either and get sucked back into Andromeda.

I spent last year and early this year doing  completionist runs on DA and ME haha I was so burned out, I switched to TES and nearly died because there's too much to do. Now I'm still finding new stuff in MEA and it never ends. I want to complete Blood and Wine, but I can't even defeat the damn frog in Heart of Stone, so I beat TW3 and just left it at that for now lol

don't get me wrong i love da just the combat of the first two games left a lot to be desired.

Honestly? I'm thoroughly enjoying it, and I got the deluxe edition at full price.

My main problem with it so far has been pacing (which is ironic, as this was the same issue I had with ME1) - the main quest and loyalty quests keep getting interrupted and diluted by huge exploration areas where the general quest quality can fluctuate. It just isn't on the same level as the Trilogy in terms of a tight, Space Opera experience, and the weakest of the mainline ME games.

But the combat? The story? The gadgets? The graphics? The skill system? All splendid. A very underrated game. FWIW, I quite like the male Ryder too. You definitely get less choice in terms of his character but he reminds me of a mix of Firefly's Mal Reynolds and Stargate's Daniel Jackson.

I was a big fan of Dragon Age Inquisition too, and this title pulls quite a bit from it. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's like what would happen if DAI and ME1 had a baby.

Yeah for me Kadara is like Skyhold. Once it unlocks the quests just pour in and you need to slow down. I usually wrap up anything that was unfinished on Eos, Aya, Voeld and Havarl, then start the Kadara stuff.
