Concern over romance's

I don't think there's any need to worry as they've said there's romances of different types. Some characters may just jump on you like say Jack and then there'll be more in depth ones like Liara/Garrus and Tali it just depends on what your Ryders will be looking for in your playthroughs some will be part of your team others will be separate. Kallo's just letting us know that he knows what's going on in there.

I agree. I'm not a fan at all about how they've been talking about it. Makes me worry that I will get the short end of the stick where the Mass Effect team will make the kind of romance I am interested in only be available in the side 'light' romances rather than the 'main' ones again.

Well in my mind I am, so the marketing is spot on. Joking aside, I think it is more of a joke than anything else, nobody expects you to take sex seriously with video game characters. On the other hand good romance story lines can make you cry and rage over a week.

The best sex scene are actually the ridiculous ones.

Oh? Lots of men, you say? Who? What? Where? As far as I know, the only likely male romance for Sara is Liam at the moment. And that hasn't even been confirmed yet.

I wouldn't worry about it too much... The Bioware devs get bugged by fans about the romances a lot on Twitter especially, by fans who love to speculate over them, as it's unique to their games. And they know teasing about it with 'banging' jokes gets the fanbase riled up without them having to reveal anything of substance. The 'let's bank ok?' thing has become a meme of sorts among the Bioware devs. It's a joke. For our benefit as well as their own. It's not indicative of how those romances will actually play out in the game.

If you read the more serious interviews they talk about how they want players to develop meaningful relationships with these characters, romantic or otherwise, and they want it to feel natural. So even if that kind of humor might appear, with specific characters for which it makes sense (someone like DAI's Sera, for example), there will surely be other relationships that are more serious and mature.

And I didn't think that one line from Kallo was 'making a big deal.' It was one line, with a bit of a suggestive tone. More a *wink nudge* kind of moment, again, for the benefit of the romance fans, in a video otherwise about everything else. Personally I like those casual touches in these otherwise professional-sounding videos - Cora's tone when she talks about Liam being an idealist was another.

Talking about banging and romances is just a clever way to create hype and deter fans from the stuff they are waiting to surprise us with. If some fans had it their way, they'd have the entire plot, all the romances and the ending revealed before they even play.

Personally, I just want a lot of variety with meaningful romances for replay purposes. Light romances are fun and all, but, they aren't something I'd replay for. I'd rather play a 'meaningful romance' route, again.
I have faith in bioware for good romances though, although DA:I was lacking in some areas, I have to say the romances were great.
