I used my 100 boost on a Mage. No regrets so far.

My only complaint about the DH is they have NO self healing at all unless you go Vengeance. It just makes doing the invasion bosses a pain since nobody else heals anyone else, so expect to die 13 times before the end of an invasion.

WC3 is my favorite of the RTS games. The Wrath of the Lich King storyline in WoW is a direct continuation of Arthas' story from the human and undead campaigns from WC3 and TFT. It's also my personal favorite storyline in the game, becuase Arthas is awesome and him as the Lich King is by far my favorite Warcraft character. He's the only expansion villain to actually have his master plan succeed, but of course since it's Warcraft, he still ends up losing. If you have the spare time and money to play WoW, I would recommend it. The new expansion involves another Burning Legion invasion, and is shaping up to be quite awesome in scope and nature, with some pretty cool lore bits and interesting gameplay additions.

I played a long time ago. Vanilla/BC mostly A little bit of WotLK (Uldaman Ulduar was the last raid I remember). I use to play on Sargeras as an Undead Disc Priest named intrex.

I always wanted to play again for nostalgia purposes, but I can't really justify the monthly sub, nor do I have the time to dedicate to a MMO.

In my 8 (maybe more) years of playing WoW (over 450 days played on my main account and ~200 on second one - not enough character slots) I've pretty much did everything, including 6 years long stint as officer/class leader/main tank. Now, I don't want to brag, but if what pretty much everyone told me is true, and my work schedule didn't interfere, I'd be probably playing even now - as a main tank in best guild on server. Who am I kidding? I love to brag! Yes, I was that good (or so people say).

With that out of the way, I'm planning to try Legion, seeing as many of old friends actually returned recently, but I'm not sure what I'll play as. Probably tank, again, or healer (tauren drood, they are Krogan of Warcraft). But this time just for fun, no hard modes or whatever are they called these days.

But that is not the reason I'm writing here, it's this

Would I guess correctly, that hairy-ass guardian druid should do all right?
I'll try to be serious. When MoP released, I tried (hard) to keep playing as undead warrior (prot, of course), but Blizzard's ample use of nerfbat™ made his racials useless. Will of the Forsaken, that made undead tanks awesome against dragons and the like became completely useless. So I bought Race Change for €20 - and promptly changed to hairy-ass bear Tauren druid. Because warrior sucked. Also druid had by far highest DPS of all the tanks, you shoud see Recount on Wind Lord Mel'jarak. But if I were to keep playing warrior, I would change him to Blood Elf. Because racials. So, Blood Elf is valid choice, race - wise. Unless it's gayla paladin, we all know Tauren are the ONLY real paladins.

Also no WoW thread would be complete without some gender bending cosplay, IMHO.

I still remember in Wrath of the Lich King when Prot Paladins complained about not having an interrupt, so they attached one to Hammer of Justice. The stun with a 1 minute cooldown that's on the GCD. Worst interrupt ever =P

If I play Horde this expansion I'll probably boost a Paladin or play Demon Hunter, since I'm generally a tank in raids.

Considering Blizzard didn't change something important in WoD, DK is arguably the best tank, thanks to his ri-dick-ulous ammount of selfhealing.

I haven't played WoW in years but I was around at the beginning when it was awesome and fun!

Not the ridiculous cookie cutter grind fest it is today.

I think the thing about WoW is that it's stayed fairly consistent over the years... I think in many ways Warlords of Draenor ushered in some of the most dramatic changes, but basically they've also twisted enough bells and whistles to make it just right over the years, IMHO.

Anyway, I've tried out most of the pre-Legion stuff it's, well, it is still WoW, I was playing my mage and it feels pretty compact and as smooth as ever really, although icicles are still dumb.
