I've only played on my druid because when I quit she was only level 88, so I had to finish panda land (blargh) and I did that the week before Legion launched. She is 3 bubbles from 110. I decided to go through and collect every Artifact weapon, so now I have a bunch of level 102 alts with all of those quests done.
Not surprisingly, a lot of the questlines were actually repeated between Artifacts. Disc Priest and Arcane Warrior for example are basically the same quest.

Legion is pretty great, so far its up there with Wotlk and Mop. Good focus on a well told story and decent use of the lore is what makes an expansion for me. Problem is i tend to play to much and it screws with work, and night school etc, so have to take breaks from time to time. Mostly played Enhancement Shaman and Prot Pala, the Paladin story was great, Shaman was so so.

Cleared normal mode Emerald Nightmare on our first night in the place, and now 3/7 for heroic mode after failing miserably on heroic last week. Last week we only had 1 boss kill, now we storm in and take 2 more with no prior practice. Now tonight we get to wipe for 3 straight hours on Elerethe Renferal, because that boss is complete shit.

I have my sound set to around 50%, I just custom mixed it in the audio settings for Windows so I can comfortably hear boss cues as well as voice chat. |

One of my faves is the track that plays during the Wrath cinematic, which also was one of Blizzard's best cinematics.

Mists as a whole was underrated. I I subbed at the end of Cataclysm because I didn't want to sit through 14 months of Dragon Soul and ended up missing most of Mists, and I regret it now. Except maybe the incessant daily grinding that I hear complaints about at the start of Mists, but the higher level quest areas and the raids were excellent, even if Siege of Orgrimmar was the only one I was able to do while it was relevant. |
