Only sometimes you do these small outposts, what?! They're like most of the gameplay in this game. And just because so called Witcher III has them too doesn't excuse it for the garbage no thought filler gameplay they provide. Especially when so much of the game is this repetitive cheap outpost junk filler. And not like the main camps on each planet are much better. What about the quests of the hackers that want to eliminate AI, the mob war on kadara, the rivalries between krogans (whatever it is the different clan that we have to capture a fiend to make them cooperate or nak morda), meeting the religious angara leader on havarl, the remnant base that give back a balance of the climates, the first human birth of andromeda, the poacher hired by an angara that is a well intentioned scientist, etc. Ah yes apprently these quest don't exists for whatever reasons... No the outopost are certainly not most of the game, at least certainly not the way you say it, you overly exagerate their importance. If you are speaking about the respawning kett outpost, you know you can avoid them, do you? Ok, I'm sorry, what are we talking about again? Whatever. I don't even care. My kitty needs attention.

6 type of Kett? I only run into Chosen, Annointed, and Destined. I dont count the dogs, which are the same as the wildlife ones. Outlaws and Roekarr I only remember outlaw, sharpshooter, and pariah. Kett dogs can turn invisible, they are bit different than the adhi who can instead interrupt you, but I don't want to spoil you something for the story, did you finished the game? here will be some little spoilers Because yes there is more than 3 types of ketts, if you include the secret one : anointed, ascendant, behemoth, chosen, destined, fiend, wraith (the attack dog) for Outlaws, there are the humans, the turians, the sniper rifle, the berserker (krogan), the asari, the salarian and hydra, there is also the adhi which are their attack dogs. In multiplayer they also have an angara among them, I don't remember if we saw them with outlaws in the single player, but they sure are in the multiplayer on the other hand. I have only encountered fiends, ascendents, and behemoth in missions, never randomly in outposts. And their wraiths are the same as the ones that show up as Charrlyon on Havarl or Adhi on Voeld, etc, so I really dont count them as a type of kett, they are just sort of repurposed over and over. So are the fiends, for that matter, and the big lizard things.

The fiend are the quadrupal big monster, I think they are immune to fire contrarly to the other big monsters from planet but I am not sure of that. But yeah they are similar to the huge animals you find on planets. But you never met an annointed? those are the big one with a shield and a gatling gun, they do a fuck ton of domage in short time once they begin to shoot, they are not super hard to kill in single player. In multiplayer on the other hand, they are a pain in the ass on harsher difficulty. Just to make the difference this is a chosen : 68.media.tumblr.com/62cb5f7ece00ffd3e08a5d06b7759870/tumblr_inline_ogqdlmTUgO1t33cbb_500.pngThis is an anointed, its kind of elite chosen with a shield and a more powerful weapon. cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/005/469/531/large/frederic-daoust-mchg-engine.jpg?1491258043And you never met destined? the one who uses shotgun and can turn themselves invisible and their surronding ally, the archon's swords one of the archon lieutnant is a powerful destined. cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/005/336/921/large/christopher-cao-khet-aco-render-closeup.jpg?1490296505

You misunderstood me.....when driving around, and fighting at some random outpost, i ONLY encountered chosen, annointed, and destined (and dogs/wraiths/adhi/charrylon...depends what category you want to put these in, they are all the same). I NEVER encountered fiends, ascendants, or behemoths in random encounters, only set missions. Likwise, I only remember 3 remnants (no destroyers or architects), and 4 Outlaws (although the Sharpshooter did come in human or turian)
Whatever, my point was that when driving around and stopping to fight a random group of whatever, it would have been nice if there was more variety.

Oh ok sorry, misunderstood what you said That's just in multiplayer where we face ascendant every 20 minutes in waves. So I am used to fight them, I forgot how many times we met them in single player. But well ascendants are supposed to be boss type, that is why they are kept for boss like the cardinal, the valiant or the invictor. The destroyer you meet them in remnant vaults, they are like the ascendant and are supposed to be for special occasion, same thing for hydras. But yeah I get what you mean, we should find more variety of ennemy on outposts and maybe have better boss fights for the special occasion.

Standard mooks should have a wider range of abilities, like better infiltrator skills, engineer builds and so forth that can create constructs that you have to deal with. Also, there's a severe lack of biotic enemies, and enemies which should be naturally predisposed to special abilities never exhibit them, like the Rokaar, who should all have a similar bioelectrical ability as Jaal, which would make them rather formidable.

Well EA stands for 'Extra Akers' which roughly translated means 'we worship only money'
A proper story driven BW game takes 5+ years to make, were as; After your initial COD game has been made, it only takes up to 21 days to knock up a new version to sell to the public ( swap around the assets a bit), so yes, I would expect EA to be pushing that way.

I've read all the articles on how this is the worst game ever made.
And you believed them?
ET The Extra Terrestrial is still noted as one of the worst games ever made.
Andromeda doesn't even come close to being one of the worst games ever made.
So be careful what you read online.
Including what you are reading right now.
I might be kidding, too.

I actually see people complain that ME:A is more like COD when comparing to the OT and says it has 0 RPG elements in it, which is quite hilarious.

I applied a texture mod to ME1 because someone talked about it in one of these threads. I was just testing it out but as a result I started playing ME1 again and the thought of loading MEA just isnt appealing anymore.

Well, anyone who says that this is the worst game ever made is kinda full of shit. Anyway, to answer the question: no. You're right. It's only the second worst ever made. ET is still number 1 in my heart. "It's only the second worst ever made." No. Oh no... I have many, many rage quitting incidents because the game was fundamentally broken (BSODs, CTD, Game-crashing bugs, etc.) E.T. (You said it man!) It was the first time, a game arrived with no instruction manual. I had no idea what to do and there was no internet to simply look it up. I got the purpose of the game after talking to other schoolmates when Christmas break had ended. The game was utterly broken... along with Atari and every other third-party developer. I had to wait another year before Commodore 64 came to my rescue. Pools of Radiance (Ubisoft, f*** you!) This isn't an exaggeration or some tale. When Pools of Radiance came out, it was the first D&D title that came out after Bioware lost the license (I want to blame it on Interplay, their lousy publisher) and it had some major problems at launch (BSOD with different issues each time). I thought it was a hardware issue, but no. Got on the forums and read all the problems. Uninstalled the game and it erased some important Windows files. Yeah. I had to a partial reinstall of Windows and lost everything in my documents folder. Ubisoft taught me not to preorder or do season passes with them again. Fallout: New Vegas (Obsidian) Yo, this... The game shined of brilliance and got me hooked and then I had to unhook myself for almost a year. However, certain creatures, like scorpions used to fall through the world floor causing the FPS to sloooooooooooow down. Then the quest bugs, the weird Exorcist-style animations and losing gear. Obsidian taught me not to preorder or do season passes with them again. Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (Interplay) WTF. The brilliance of Interplay at work. Interplay tanked, Black Isle closed and the franchise was sold to Bethesda. MLB 2K11 and 2K12 Same problems that utterly broke Franchise saves in 2K11 were even more prevalent in 2K12. They didn't patch the game after release until almost the all-star break. 2K11 was notorious for multi-player glitches (a foul ball over the dugout sometimes was called a HR, etc.) and technical support was non-existent. And the list goes on and on... I used to keep a CD Binder of games that I bought and called them failures. Not a single Bioware or Bioware-related game has ever come close to going there. Not even Inquisition and Andromeda. Later patches proved it. However, EA has trained me not to preorder anything from them. Season passes turn into Collector's Edition. So I wait the last edition. Andromeda on the PS4 at launch was broken. BROKEN. However, it's been fun and now I can actually enjoy it without seeing the Housewives of Orange County facial animations.

Assuming you mean the apartment from the Pinnacle Station DLC, it pretty much falls under the same thing. It's all very impressive and the hand crafted stuff looks very futuristic, but the landscape feels like any other planet. As I sat there doing an APEX mission on some Earth like planet, I couldn't help but think of what you said here. That this... ... was another beautiful day on planet Earth. To be honest, there's nothing in that picture that suggests it couldn't be Earth in 2185 out in some barren landscape at sunset. Maybe with a brown filter applied to the picture, but that's about it. The only thing that jumps out as being "sci-fi" or even futuristic is the shot in orbit(obviously, but both games do this) and the interior design of the apartment that I already said looked futuristic. The landscape itself though has nothing that you can't find here on Earth.

When I first got there I explored the apartment thinking that part was awesome. When I looked outside I pretty much went "Oh, just another computer generated landscape". There were a few planets(the names of which I can't remember) that had some rather impressive looking skyboxes, but that's kind of the extent of that in Mass Effect 1. Havarl gave me more of a feeling of being on an alien planet than the apartment in the DLC did: Though I have to wonder: You say Tatooine is fine when it's literally a place here on Earth just with some editing to get the twin suns in. How do you think that matches up against Elaaden which has a skybox with a larger planet and some moons, something we'd never see when looking up here on Earth?

It's hard to compare videogame graphics to movies. Especially when one of my main beefs with Andromeda is the colour choices and lighting for which really mess with my immersion/suspension of disbelief.
