@ 3:00 in the trailer there's a Reegar carbine in the pause wheel. (& lol at carrying a Reegar Carbine, & a N7 Piranha)
@ 4:08 there's a Female Turian icon below the right side of the health bar.
I'm calling it, we'll get a Male Quarian squadie, since there's a Fem Turian squadmate, & a Reegar Carbine.

If there are Quarians, there better be Geth too. The established timeline puts the Arks as leaving before the events of ME3. So no Geth, unless Bioware is willing to contravene their established lore again.

So no Geth, unless Bioware is willing to contravene their established lore again. They don't have to. The Geth are easy to explain while keeping the lore intact. Either their involvement was kept secret because of public perception of them, or something as simple as a bunch uploaded themselves onto the ships.

I doubt the Toas... Geth will be there due to the history of the Geth, & Quarians. I don't think Bioware wants to do the whole Geth, & Quarians story arc again. It'll just be plain awkward if they're both in ME:A on "ok" terms, after what went down in the Morning War.

I don't think we'll have a Quarian squadmate. Right now the squadmates appear to be PeeBee, Liam, Cora, Drack, the female Turian, and there is a rumored A.I. companion. That's six companions, which might be the full squad. If there is a seventh, I'd bet on an Andromeda native over a Quarian. I doubt we'll have more than 7 squadmates. I'd be surprised if some Quarians weren't on the Nexus however. Maybe the character in Engineer Adams' place will be Quarian this time around. We're getting a Salarian pilot, so why not a Quarian chief engineer?

Quarian isn't going to be doing that.

It'll just be plain awkward if they're both in ME:A on "ok" terms, after what went down in the Morning War. Why? There are many Quarians, including one of the Admirals, who wants peace with the Geth. So it isn't out of the question that the Quarians in Andromeda are like that. It's not like they care about Rannoch anyway since they are going to a completely different galaxy. Personally I think there is a lot of potential with them being friends again, or at least allies.

Yeah, the Geth were helping get the Quarian's immune systems back up. If they do that in Andromeda too, it means we could see Quarians not always in their suits.

Highly doubt it. I don't think there is room, and I don't think we will have crew as big as in ME2. The core races are there, the aliens are there, we will manage without Quarians or Geth (a single one, since they haven't been friendly) for that matter. The Citadel races have the biggest presence, and they will make it to the team, plus probably a native character. There might be Quarians on the Nexus in small number, doubt they will make it to the Pathfinder team.

Given that the Quarians were one of the fan favorites "Fan favorites" is quite relative term to be honest. Without proper playerbase research we can only judge by self-selected community. Even so, it is a safe bet that they are one of the fan favorites. Companion characters become the avatars for their species, and fandom for those characters spills over to the characters' species. Players that like Tali are also usually fans of the Quarians. Fans of Liara or Samara usually like the Asari, Garrus fans think the Turians are cool, ect, ect.

Personally I think there is a lot of potential with them being friends again, or at least allies. Regardless of any reasons the writers think they could squeeze in to include them, the point about bringing up an old narrative like that is a strong enough reason not to include them. Quarians who wanted peace with them were outliers with no hope of getting what they wanted. If it wasn't for the reapers' timing, Xen's weapon would have seen them extinct and there would have been nothing any sympathizers would have been able to do about it. But a big question here is: how would any quarian prior to the battle for Rannoch even obtain friendly geth to come with them in the first place? Why would they bother? In terms of the trilogy's narrative, the geth are an enemy faction whose narrative value is basically spent. That they can be allies in the end doesn't really matter, because you can just wipe them out before they get the chance as well. With quarians, including them isn't a big deal because they're never a hostile faction anyway and can be included with any population of NPC's with no problem as to coming up with a reason to justify their being there.

I agree that the chance of geth being included are slim to none. I would think that if they do include AIs of any kind, they would be 'native' to Andromeda - as that would create a better opportunity for a fresh narrative than the geth. We've already gotten the geth's story. Though I love the geth, and Legion is a personal favorite, I don't particularly want to hear that story again. Regarding the quarians, I've seen a lot of speculation that they won't be included. I'd be extremely surprised if that's the case. They spent a lot of time in the ME series building their lore and including them in the narrative. Tali is a beloved character. Hell, Reegar, who we talk to for all of five minutes, has his own little fan club And, there's plenty of good reasons for them to be involved in the project. No one is as good at salvaging and re-purposing technology as they are. They also have experience creating and maintaining self-sustaining ship communities. It would also be very easy to give them reasons to want to go. Continuation of their species and all that, especially with that big, extremely dangerous war they're planning... I could certainly see them not including hanar, elcor, volus, vorcha, yaagh (not sure I spelled that right). But outside of the council species, the quarians and krogan are the most featured races. Again, it would be a very weird decision on the game creators' part to just leave them out, or even to just relegate them to background npc status. Even if we don't get a squadmate, why would they not include one as an important crew member? We have a salarian pilot, after all, so I imagine the whole crew will be a mix of species - which is pretty exciting in itself by the way. I'm not one of those human = boring types, but having a mix be would be fun. Especially since they'll supposedly have even more dialogue than our squaddies in ME1-3 did.

It's clear that they were given a strong role in the story. Krogans are a huge part of Bioware's vision.

I thought that too and got all excited, but if you look again it's a guy with goggles and spiky hair, and you get a few glimpses of him as a squadmate and he's definitely got a human figure. I thought that Reyes, that guy you talk to during the scanning part sounded quarian. Admittedly I 'm bad at placing accents, but I literally played Priority: Rannoch like two days ago so all that quarian dialogue is fresh in my mind and it sounded just like them to me. But others are saying he sounds Spanish (I would disagree, having grown up in a part of the U.S with a large hispanic population and I once had a Spanish professor, but again, I'm bad with accents...) so maybe not. Regardless, the quarians were my favorite of the alien species we met in the trilogy, so I'll hold out hope that there's at least some major characters until their absence is confirmed. After all, I saw a lot of speculation here on these boards that there wouldn't be turians because they didn't show any at first and that turned out to be wrong as well.
